lol I like that movie. I was forced to go see it with my ex and thought I would hate it, but ended up liking it. If you like R&B it's not bad, or have any interest in the tales of aspiring artists... if you don't then it's probably pretty boring and annoying heh

The worst movie I ever saw was an extremely (and I mean EXTREMELY) low budget horror movie called Revolting Dead. It's pretty revolting alright.

Out of regular movies, I'd say something like End of Days. I remember actually saying that was the stupidest movie I've ever seen after I saw it.

Worst movie I have ever seen was probably Life of a Bee? Or something like that... I forgot but Queen Latifah was in it, these three girls made me go... I was like whatever, ( Three girls you know? ) It was horrible, and all three of them started crying... Man was that bad...

Another movie I thought was completely stupid was Twilight, like wow that was sooo cheesy, I went to LA when I watched this, and almost everyone I was with ( 6 girls and like 5 guys ) were laughing, we actually thought it was suppose to be a comedy, until we looked at the back of the dvd case... Lmao!

Oh and Quarantine, that movie was filled with bad actors, and I was actually laughing at the movie theatre, people must of thought I was pyscho or something lol...

No question, for me it's got to be ' Hidden'. Every time it comes on tv the critics give it 5 stars. I think they've just been brainwashed into doing that because it's French and the director is supposed to be good apparently but it's the biggest pile of crap i've ever seen. Nothing happens all the way through it and it doesn't even have an ending. Of course the director says that's "enigmatic" and he wants the viewer to make up their own mind what may happen afterwards. What that means in English is he didn't have the brains to work out a decent ending or he just couldn't be bothered. If you've never seen it and it crops up anytime give it a miss. If you do watch it then prepare to be massively disappointed. Don't say I didn't warn you.2009-02-05 00:52:00

worst movie ever made... Plan 9 from outer space...

aside from that worst movie ive seen recently was probably be kind rewind.

with jack black I was expecting somthing decent... or atleast funny.. this movie was retarded with a capital TARD!! like everything about it was completely random and unbelievable.. then it didnt even have an ending, it just rolled credits...

most dissappointed ive been by a movie... The Matrix 2... I dont know why but I hated it./.. around the point where he reaches in and squeezes trinities heart to bring her to life... I stood up, threw down my popcorn, and said "EXPLITIVE this, ive gotta smoke a cigarette!" and walked out, demanded my 6.50 back and left..

OMG S. DARKO.... REALLY!@ OMFG!!!!

heres what Wikipedia has to say...Samantha Darko (Daveigh Chase) and her rebellious best friend Corey Richardson (Briana Evigan) leave on a cross-country road trip to Los Angeles in an attempt to 'make it big'. Their dreams are cut short when their water pump blows outside of a tiny Utah town. Unable to leave until their car is fixed, Sam and Corey are stranded with the locals until their car's fixed. Sam and Corey are less than thrilled at the delay, and when an unexplained meteorite crash-lands in town that night, it soon becomes clear that there is much more at play than just a chance breakdown.

Plagued by bizarre hallucinatory dreams warning her of the universe's imminent end, as well as grief over her own loss of family, Sam must face the demons she had fled back at home. Aided by the unlikely town locals, Sam learns the true meaning of family and friendship, and in doing so, saves only herself.

this part jumped out at me... "Donnie Darko's writer and director, Richard Kelly, did not reprise his role as the director or writer of S. Darko. He stated "To set the record straight, here's a few facts I'd like to share with you all -- I haven't read this script. I have absolutely no involvement with this production, nor will I ever be involved."[2] Chris Fisher, director of S. Darko, noted that he was an admirer of Kelly's film, and that he hoped "to create a similar world of blurred fantasy and reality."[3]"

Vomits... why they gonna ruin a perfectly good movie by making a sequal... Its just not fair~!

i'm not a fan of that movie but it is not the worst movie i've seen. You can still agree that it is well made.

Maybe the name of this thread should be changed?

Some of youze need to start watching some crappier movies! Dreamgirls?? I mean I haven't even seen Dreamgirls. I'm sure it's not my cup of tea, but worst movie you've ever seen??

TRY to watch Howard the Duck. I'll wait.
If not that, go check out Battlefield Earth. Not doing it for you?
The Donnie Darko fans should definitely rent a little number called "Southland Tales".

I don't think this is a weird topic at all! Terrible awful horrible movies can be as much fun as good movies. Sit down with some friends who have a similar sense of humor and just have a good laugh. This thread isn't about a movie you saw that you were kind of disappointed in, or was just sort of mundane or average. I think we're trying to get at those REALLY - REALLY bad (BAAAAD) movies. The ones that are so awful they're memorable. They take a special place in your heart.

Here's a present: 5 minutes of your time very well-spent in the company of wretchedness and filth:

LOL just think someone at some point wrote that dialogue down, looked at it, said "hey this is great" showed it to someone else, they said "your right thats amazing", they showed it to a third person, who just happened to have some money, and he said "Oh My Gaawwwd, wez gotta make dis movie!" 3-5 months later... Battlefield Earth.

Christopher Lambert's been in some real crap, man. Holy lord. I don't know if I saw Resurrection. I've seen some Lambert garbage though. This one where he plays this haunted man, and you see his flashbacks of what made him such a hard-***. It's a flashback where he's screaming in slow motion and calling out and reaching to something - turns out it's his toddler on a big-wheel, driving out into the road. He gets hit, naturally.

This kind of material could obviously be crushing. Any parent I'm sure would be horrified at the very idea.

But nobody in their right mind would be able to watch these scenes, the way they're presented, and not laugh. It's just BAD. Bad filmmaking, genuinely awful storytelling, will always be deeply fascinating to me.

For Battlefield Earth, nobody ever had to look at the script and say, "this is really good". I don't think anyone ever thought it was actually good. The only people who had a major say in getting it made were Scientologists, namely John Travolta. He's a combination of brainwashed crazy and Hollywood royalty. Obviously this is a combination that is destined to lead to something like Battlefield Earth. Destiny. It's beautiful in a way.

Seriously though, as awful as most major Hollywood studios are, even the studios recognized Battlefield Earth as wretched, they all turned it down. Travolta invested millions of his own money, got a production company who's forte is movie-star pet projects to fund the rest, and the rest is history. Rotten, maggot-infested history.

"Lars and the real girl"
I thought it was a comedy. I was sadly mistaken. But I dont like any pure drama movies.

"The Rats" is terrible as well. Evil rats escape, breed and cause havoc. They are drawn to a empty swimming pool when the hero pours a certain purfume into it. Then he blows them up with dynamite or something. At the end of the movie it shows some surviving rats come out of the sewer. WHAT A ... SURPRISE. They are rats for gods sake. of course some survived. bleh.

Don't watch these movies.

I thought about naming a few here that have been lackluster in my opinion (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, War of the Worlds), but the one movie I absolutely despise on all levels deserves my full attention: Minority Report.

I saw the movie when it first hit store shelves however many years ago and just found most of the ideas within completely ridiculous... even for a science fiction film. It's like the writer just made the stuff up as he went along and I feel the movie seriously suffered as a result. Maybe I need to give it another shot, but there aren't too many movies that I just outright hate either.

In my opinion, Blade Runner is an infinitely better film and - as a result - I'll just watch it and forget about Minority Report.

Truth. I've had it with all of these disney musicals. Jump In, HSM, Camp Rock, etc.

I'd say the worst movie ever is Spy Kids 3D: Game Over. It was so awful compared to the other two.

Lol, worst film I have EVER seen. No reason for it to exist. I think the company that made it couldn't think of anything exciting so just dragged out the boring scenes.

Honestly though, don't watch it...

Philip K. D I C K is a good writer, but like most Hollywood adaptations, they **** all over the authors work. Although, I'm partly inclined to agree with you about Minority Report, as the precogs don't actually work, as they in no way see the future. If they did they wouldn't see the murders, but they would see the police turning up the arrest the suspects.

In my opinion, Blade Runner is an infinitely better film and - as a result - I'll just watch it and forget about Minority Report. It is a good film, but slightly overrated and another good example of Hollywood messing with D I C K's work. You should definitely go pick up a copy of Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?

Also, Mystery Men is one of the worst films ever.

Edit: I'm not swearing, that's his name. Stupid word filters.

you think thats bad? wait till you see the next batman!

Spoiler here (http://justjared.buzznet.com/2008/12/17/eddie-murphy-the-riddler/all-comments/)

wasn't the riddler being played by a comedian what started the death of the old series of batman movies? I mean the first two were great, then jim carey came in and play (jim carey dressed as) the riddler and the whole series went to crap... there wasn't a good batman again untill... well batman begins. hmm seems kind of cyclical.

Yeah I hate all those movies.. last movie that had that format that was still funny was like the old naked gun movies, or hot shots part deux, or wrongfully accused.. after that its just taking the same silly retarded humor in a different package... random sensless humor is only funny for so long.

Oh, come on people! You haven't seen enough movies. Many of these movies are bad, sure, but you're not really scraping the bottom of the barrel yet. You're not even down to Troma level at this point!

Ok, one of the worst movies ever made:

The Basket Case

The story of a horribly deformed siamese twin with no arms or legs getting separated from the other twin - who looks normal. The entire movie the "normal" twin carries a basket around, which secretly contains his brother. The deformed twin sneaks out periodically and kills people. Best part of the movie? It was so bad they had to give away free surgical masks to get people to come in.

Top that!!!

Hannibal hands down. Bad gore fest with awful CG effects (almost as bad as the Neo fighting zillions of Agent Smiths in Matrix 2). It wouldn't even get close to Silence of the Lambs if it used a 60 foot stick.

Next in line: 300. I got so bored after 15 minutes (and 15 incredibly boring mins if I may add, I didn't even bother to fast forward to the good bits if there are any which I doubt after that start) I turned it off (and that is something I very rarely do). Luckily it was only a rental.

And the bronze medal goes to: Episode 2 and 3. Episode 2 for the extremely soppy and painful to watch "romance" (or what someone thought could be passed off as romance) that annoyingly chopped up the good bits (on the upside, you could go to the toilet and not miss anything) and Episode 3 for more awful romance "Ani you're breaking my heart!!!!" (worst line ever followed by whatever reason they gave for her dying, something with not wanting to live or being heartbroken or whatever) and an epic battle that was incredibly unepic (5 mins of jumping around, 5 minutes of bad lines and 2 minutes of actual fighting before Obi Wan wins?!????).

Hannibal and 300?
Hannibal I'll admit was a poor adaptation on the novel, but I think they did an adequate job with Gary Goldman as Mason Verger. I'd much rather nominate the last effort, Hannibal Rising, which was not only absolutely terrible, but also based on an stunningly terrible novel.

And then 300? Over hyped, maybe... Bad? I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when you say it's the *worst* of the litter, I gotta question the source of that resentment.

i don't watch enough movies myself and i tend to watch good ones when i do lol.

but i would also agree the bat man movie with jim carey (is it carrey? lol) was garbage when i was a kid i thought it was cool though.

but ya batman returns / dark knight were awesome.
