Little Lil' Planet

Please give my level Little Lil' Planet a try. It's made to make you feel very tiny and it even has a boss. Please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism always welcome. Hey I p[layed this last night. It was pretty fun and kept me entertained. Cute levels All 3 levels brought something different to the table, specially the third installment. Mr. Kitty should be dead by now he's like Robotnik, and Bowser, and just won't stay down, or know when it's time to quite, lol. The only part that I found kinda annoying was in the third level, in the room with all the spinning sponge above the fire, there's no real direction for this room, and I JUST made it on my last life. I suggest making all your sheck points double life ones, as so people don't die and have to restart the level. Most people don't have the patience to restart a level (I do, but I know many seem to have ADD )

Anyways, keep up the good work ninja. and return the favor with some F4F In the sig) MCL!!!

Made it a double life and I added a little more directional help without just giving it away (it's fairly satisfying when you do find the path). Thanks for the input.2009-02-04 15:49:00

Heh the concept was pretty fun, I did like the premise of the little story and there were some funny things in it (the kill counter behind the killer).

For level design: it's all quite simple and straightforward. I would suggest you take a close look on how the level designers at media molecule construct their levels. You use most the basic floor of the garden theme as the floor for a long time, which does get a bit boring, that kind of stuff.

Simple tip: block off the parts that you don't want the player to go. Drop down a house, wall or other obvious obstacle. I started the level moving to the left (there was room so I went there) while there was absolutely nothing to see there . It helps retain the focus.
