Favourite types of music?

Out of those 4 which is your favourite? 4 is the maximum I could do so those are the types I think are most popular 'nowa days' I am coming to the conclusion that most LBP players like rock/metal, but then who doesn't?2009-02-03 17:12:00

Hip-hop is all I really listen to, but I don't keep up on it as much as I used to. I've got a pretty huge CD collection, and mostly listen to stuff from the 90's... for the most part I listen to alot of lesser known, more introspective and conscious lyricists and one's that value content and technique over image. Substance over style basically... I do like some mainstream stuff depending on the setting, I love the classics and big time legends, and always recognize if a person has talent and skill regardless of wether they're rich or poor; shallow or deep.

Wu-Tang is probably my all time favorite act... especially the RZA.

I do like alot of reggae, R&B, rock, and blues... and really just about anything, but I don't really ever buy any albums from other genres.		2009-02-03 17:40:00

It's all about 60's and 70's soul music for me. That's what I listen to 90% of the time. Having said that I love some quality hip-hop like Q-Tip, Common, Nas, Talib etc.2009-02-05 15:05:00

Drum n Bass FTW!! What artists you listen to? Squarepusher? Aphex Twin?

I couldn't really say i have a favourite type of music though, its either its good or not. Thats just my opinion and i think different types of music have different roles for different people.		2009-02-19 00:49:00

Classical
Jazz
Classic Rock

These are my 3 favorite genres. I absolutely HATE pop "culture" and I will NOT listen to "Soulja Boy" type stuff. I seriously think our country is in a cultural depression.

Rapcore is a mix between hardcore and rap.
Rock-Rap is a mix between of course roxk and rap.

Well... I hate everything to do with Linkin Park unless it's an 'I hate Linkin Park' shirt. I also hate all of this R&B stuff or whatever crap you want to call it. I can't stand the stuff, I actually throw up from listening to too much of it.

That was a lie by the way, but I still do hate it.

Did I mention I like Reggae a bit too? I listen to it sometimes just to be cheered up O_o

I voted for Rock, I like most stuff within that type of genre. My order of these genres are as follows:

Rock
Metal
Pop
R&B

idk why a lot of people hate linkin park...well im sure a lot of people hate every band. but i like linkin park (well a lot of songs not every im sure) its just a cool style obviously imo . w/ a singer / rapper.

one song i hate thats out now is that "Undead" song, one reason mainly; they use like crazy train or sweet dreams main riff like synthesised but faster....its just blatant copying imo idk...that bugged me		2009-02-19 23:37:00

A lot of people like LP actually. Personally, I think they simply are people who attempt to scream to create music and use computerised sound effects to add atmosphere to their music. It's just terrible, in my opinion.		2009-02-19 23:46:00
