Unicode spaceing

Archive: 5 posts

Hi fellow sack-folk,
I know this is kina an old subject, but I have played a few levels and in the level descriptions I notice people have used unicodes. However, I was wondering how they remove the large spaces after a Unicode character.
Thanks for any help

I don't know how to do it with ♥
but, I know if you have a Japanese PS3, you can type special characters by typing romaji for it...like onpu = music note = ♪...and you can type them without spaces...maybe there's romaji for ♥ but I don't know it.
(this won't work if you just change your PS3 language to japanese, because you can't enter romaji when typing the title or description. it only works if you bought the PS3 in Japan)

My ps3 alas is a European one. But yes, Its what I mean.. The Unicode (eg. X) follower by only one space, not six.

Close and open the text dialogue after entering text, hit enter (start), and the characters will be correctly evaluated without the trailing spaces.

♥ is one way to do it.

I can type in Japanese just fine in LBP. Just set the PS3 system language to Japanese and the kana keyboard will still be available to use in LBP as normal.
