Just saw these comments on an article at N4G.com, I took a screenshot of the comments the topic of the article was about LBP 3. Of course there is no valid proof that this is real, I still get really excited at the thought of a potential new Littlebigplanet game! maybe it is true?... ...... ("psforward" comments in the pics).....

Yeah! This like made my whole day haha, I was able to get a hold of this user and get a lot of info and asked a lot of questions! It was real interesting! Of course no official validation, however I did find a connection to what he believed was the new story plot and a recent post by media molecule on their ps4 game about "dreams".

If this rumor has any merit to it, That means a couple things. A: It'll be 2.5D still. Which may bother some people but personally I'm cool with whichever. B: It'll be shown off at E3 this year and may have a small chance of coming out by the end of the year. I'm cool with it as well, it keeps the LBP charm and makes MM new game the go-to for 3D! If this is true, then giving access to 12 layers while keeping the tradtional 2.5D layers is very ambitious especially if there is someway sackboy can travel that deep under certain circumstances. EDIT: Also, if this is true, that guy is in deep trouble. -hyper

Oh sorry about that, I was just in a big hurry to share it haha I totally agree with you though, I could see some people feeling the need for it to be 3D if they should make a new game or atleast something bigger for a new LBP, but with me personally, any new LBP game they make with sackboy would be an instant buy for me!

I hurried and made an account just to communicate with him and see if there was more info. Nice guy, had a family and talked about how his kids play LBP and stuff and got him into the game.

The 12 layers while interesting sounds a bit odd to me. I wonder what that would exactly mean? Official extra layers tool? About time if so, 3D layers have been basically a real tool many of us use already for ages. And with the added power from PS4 it should be no trouble. Also going a bit more technical I wonder how Sackfolk would work in them? Like I wonder if you could freely switch between all the layers or not. And when a sackdoll falls does it automatically switch to the more close layer? I think that'd be a bit awkward and strange to land on a layer 12 layers away, So perhaps it'd be limited to only being able to fall 1 layer forward or backwards as it does right now still. *mew

Yeah, when we were talking, he said it was in "alpha" (apparently a stage of the video game process) haha he said he would be absolutely shocked if it wasn't announced at e3 or gamescom this year. Also, the only platform mentioned at his meeting was the PS4.

Yeah, but so far for lbp games they have been internal game jams, but that guy claims Sony outsourced the testing to a company so it seems a bit odd.

There are alpha phases, yes. LBP2 has an alpha phase testing with 15 people I believe, (I stil have a glitched mircochip that someone got from that phase which has the older look before the microchip got updated). -hyper EDIT: @david LBP is in the hands of Sony now so anything could happen I guess. -hyper

Despite the fact that, like most good things in life, it only has limited credibility, it still gives me enough hope and excitement that we could see a new LBP game soon It does mean that I'll have to buy a PS4 though, which I was putting off due to paying off a mortgage. The question? Is LBP worth losing my girlfriend and my house over....... hmm.... tough one

MM is stepping away from LBP, they confirmed that a while ago. So the thread does seem non-legit. However to be fair, I would ask him why he posted on that thread and about the coincidence of just signing up. I really hope its some-what real and some-what fake because he will get in a lot of trouble not to mention he has a family. It's not your fault in any way for posting this here (I would have) but I do kind of worry for him now. -hyper
