FROM THE LEVEL SHOWCASE:

http://ib.lbp.me/img/bl/7ebce86a74cdfb7e4bd9c365332b3d529597fc46.png[LBN SACKQUEST] The New Wild WestBlackbeltnick95On the journey of a lifetime, in order to go home and reunite with his loved ones, Nick Walker must fight to survive, travel across treacherous lands, meet new and strange people, and experience things never before seen by mankind of his time! ----- [An entry in LittleBigNetwork's SackQuest Competition.]
The wild west, I'm sure when people think of that topic they would think of the past. But what about the "new" wild west? That stuck in my mind when I played this entertaining quest with a great story as Nick Walker. Prepare for three levels of meeting life-like characters (thanks to the charm and expression put in the voice acting and enjoying dialogue), the action with your might hand gun against those enemies far from the time period walker came from and an really interesting ending (which I will not spoil). This quest is epic, from the start of being abducted into another time period hundreds of years in advance, all the way to an adventure one should definitely experience. Howdy there partner, are you ready to go on an adventure that will blow your boots off? If your a city slicker you best go out and get ya some new boots now cause your fancy kicks won't be appropriate for this cattle drive. Wait there's actually no cattle in this Western adventure, just rocket propelled baddies, a kick-butt Montage set to a great Bon Jovi classic, and an ending that leaves you in a tight spot!! Well, hold up my britches cause that seems like a more of a hoot-I-nany of a good time, if I don't say so myself. What else is that you say, there's also an all-star cast of voice actors, well by dang it, this sounds amazing, wait I already been on this adventure and if I reckon, this was amazing!!!

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/8862b4964538c5b01fe029059f2c18f1dec3f827.pngKineti c VoltageStrawberryHeAtSpecial thanks:
This is probably the only platforming level I played that focuses on many metal balls. No seriously, and I love this because of that. I'm trying to find a way to describe how the design looks, it's hard! It has a very interesting layout and easily looks like its made by a professional! Along with the balance of quality and quantity, prepare to launch your skills of timing as you jump over electrifying metal balls that also carries currents that operate certain gizmos. No, ok I admit it, its not just about metal balls, another game play element focuses on button mashing on the controller shape buttons as each of the four shapes controls the movement of the according block. If there is a platform with a "square" button on it, then pressing square will move the block out a layer. Especially near the end, right before you hit the score board, those blocks will be quite a challenge before you make it through to the end. Oh, don't forget to aim for those sneaky secrets collectibles, they are quite an effort to find, and at the same time, it is very rewarding when you do. This level may be predominantly beige but there is nothing remotely dull about it! In fact things get pretty lively, pretty quickly as you find yourself needing all your timing skills to get past some tricky obstacles. I was never entirely sure what the kinetic in the title refers to but I very quickly discovered the voltage bit…or rather it found me! Anyway, multiple electrocutions and all joking aside, this is a brilliant platformer, full of well-designed obstacles, more than enough *cough* challenge and plenty of flair. StrawberryHeAt introduces some cool original elements too, with his metallic blocks with the button symbols on them, which I really liked despite the fact they robbed me of a ton of my hard won points! And then there are the secrets: 20 very cunningly placed prize bubbles, some coming with a whacking great bonus of 10,000 points and, as I predicted, I have spent way more time than is remotely sensible trying to track them all down! Challenging, compelling and tremendous fun to play! This is StrawwberryHeAt's best work so far and he's done an outstanding job. 3 simple syllables: A-MAZ-ING. Some time ago when I played a StrawberryHeat Level I told Shrop, this creator has potential and boy o boy did StrawberryHeat come thru for me time and time again, with this one being absolutely an astonishing piece of platforming that leaves you wiping the drool from off your floor that seeped down you chin to get there. I fancied the game mechanics, the layout, and especially the blocks that blocked your path in which you had to hit the corresponding button to make it disappear. Personally I loved that idea so much I wish Strawberry comes out with a part 2 exploring this game mechanic even further. This level is fire hot and is ready to play NOW!!!

http://i1.lbp.me/img/bl/3a1b32c86cca9ef80eac2590802bca8bc4da12a3.pngBlocky Adel22Puzzle game - 1Player - 30Levels - auto save

Right when you play a level, no a fantastic mini-game that stays true to its definition, that has mutliple levels, 3 starts to collect on each level, new gameplay elements as you progress further for a challenge and now memoriser support, you can tell that it is made by adel as it has become her new signature, and I can not thank her enough for making these awesome quality, and quantity filled levels. A classic mini-game is featured here with blocks and sliding. The goal is direct, slide across the level to make it to the designated point. However, one direction will have you sliding all the way until you collide with another block, kind of like the puzzles in pokemon when you are sliding on ice and you have to hit the icebergs to stop sliding. If you die once (by sliding across the level and reach the "out of bounds" area), you will lose a star but you do have the awesome option in the level to reset and try again if you want to aim for three stars right away. As you progress, you will see blocks that will emit and blocks that will be destroyed as you collide with them putting your brain to the test. And with the points you racked up from the main levels, you unlock the bonus levels which contain less brain power and are more fun to tackle. Don't be blocky, give it a go, sliding is more fun than you know.OK, make sure you’ve fed the kids/dog, phoned your Mum/Dad/friends or otherwise cleared the decks before you play this level because once you’ve started you’re not going to want to stop. Plaintive calls of “I’m hungry” will be met with a heartless “Well, make yourself a sandwich, then!”, as you try yet one more time to make it through the latest level with a 3 star score...and there are 30 levels, no less. Adel’s latest mini-game is superb: it’s clever, brilliantly put together and totally absorbing. The idea is simple enough. You need to move a block around a grid, bumping into other blocks as you go, until you end up at the exit point. Sorry that’s a rubbish explanation; you’ll just have to play it and see for yourself (or read hyper's review which does a better job ). It will soon have you scratching your head and trying to work out a pattern of moves that don’t end with poor “Blocky” spinning off the grid with a reproachful cry. The puzzles are masterful with a nice difficulty progression and plenty of new elements introduced to keep it fresh. The execution is slick and extremely professional looking, and, fortunately for starving children/dogs, there’s an auto-save function which preserves your progress and lets you return another day to finish it off. A simply wonderful and very addictive puzzle game!

FROM RECOMMENDATIONS:

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/cc608a9bfe4e930c17beb9cddc6fc4a863ad670d.pngCube Runner™siguta---- Помоги кубику добраться до финиша.____ Help me get to the finish cube
Right when I played this I told myself, I call dibs to review this level.I just love these kind of concepts, they are easy to catch on but can be a rewarding challenge. Cube Runner is an enjoyable survival where you are in control of a cube that can only move left and right into three slots (one on the left, one in the middle, and one in the right). Then comes along the obstacles you have to avoid which are big rectangular blocks with holes in them, and you have go into the hole to avoid crashing and loosing a life. Yes, you have multiple lives in this survival so don't panic if you made a mistake or misguided. The quality of the survival is what made me entertained the most, you have level ups as you progress further, there are special power ups that would give you a multiplier, slow time down or even let you blow up some of the walls with boom boom power! Like other survivals that including "running" concepts, the speed goes faster and faster at a well paced interval based on progress and before you know it the distance meter count increases faster and faster leading you on your way to aim for the highscore. While writing this I don't know if I am still number 7 on the leaderboard, but I know I earned that spot. Such a simple concept with a fantastic layout that is highly addicting. Type of level I wish I could download and play on the go. What can I say, you took left, middle, right and made it super great, super progressive, and super-duper fun. I wanna go for top 5, but I think 7 is my threshold, definitely a game to test your hand eye coordination to the max. Maybe that's why I love this game so much, for an old timer, not too old though I feel proud of that top 7 spot, but look forward to seeing some of you younger gamers with you lightning quick reflexes knocking me down a peg. So get out there and show me what you've got, you have officially been challenged!!!!

http://i3.lbp.me/img/bl/383c3845af073e136f974c5e4b58b9bf9b8f8bb8.pngAbhorS UNdogGODTurn off the lights, Turn up the volume and make sure your sackboy has extra pants!!.....music by Buddydestruction
t has Skulls everywhere and I love skulls, now go and play it!!!! ......... What was that? .... Oh the review has to be more descriptive? ....... But I love skul.... Ok ok, This level is dark, dank, and right up my alley of the types of design I find absolutely astonishing. SUNdogGOD has just earned himself a faithful follower in all his levels. Even got me searching out for his original account with the SUN factory levels to play them as well. This was .... I am speechless .... no seriously this is one of those levels that you definitely don't see everyday. Not even around Halloween do I typically see levels that have this gritty design with uber-cool platforming. I don’t know, there’s something about a rusty, downright dirty factory that I just can’t resist. The one at the centre of Abhor is just terrific – industrial grunge at its very best. Not only does it have that dark, tarnished feel to it but scattered throughout are the most fantastic skull stickers – almost enough of a heavy metal vibe there to satisfy even bio, who would long ago have added a few flaming skulls to the Spotlight banner, if Ria and I hadn’t put our foot down. All of this creates a great moody, sinister atmosphere and the many sharp toothed saw blades and fiery pits only add to the sense of danger. But this level is not just about style. It has plenty of substance too, with some cool, nicely flowing gameplay using every claustrophobic nook and cranny of the facility. This is an brillaint level and SUNdogGOD is clearly a creator to watch.

http://id.lbp.me/img/bl/b5d8e55a3f2bc832c95092badda29b1852fdfe2e.pngBerry Go RoundSylvian-666-This is a simple platformer... Until you try to go to a corner of the screen. Can you collect all strawberries? Have fun!!
I have to say, sylvian-666- is a total genius at creating puzzle levels and this one may be his best yet. And it’s not just a puzzle level but a great set of platforming tests too, a true workout for both your grey cells and your thumbs. You’re faced with a series of 20 rooms and the task in each is to get from the starting checkpoint to an exit, which sounds simple enough until you realise that the rooms don’t have side walls and that if you run off screen on the right hand side, you’ll reappear in the room from the left hand side and vice versa. It’s a brilliant concept and sylvian-666- has designed some fantastic brain-teasing puzzles around it. What’s more, each room contains a strawberry and nabbing it on the way to the exit will gain you big bonus points. However, getting those strawberries adds a whole new level of difficulty to the task! I’m not admitting how long I spent in this level the first time I played it, but it was at least an hour and I enjoyed every second of it, no matter how often I died (rolling that ball uphill OMG! And then having to do it AGAIN!). Seriously, it’s a brilliant level, so well designed, so utterly compelling as a challenge and such fun to play. It’s even more fun with friends to share the triumphs, near misses and disasters with. Honestly this is one of my favourite levels of the year so far. If you haven’t already played it, queue it now! P.S. Oh, and I have to say, I had an evil chuckle to myself when I thought of Cogmonkey having to record the whole thing for the Spotlight video...

http://ic.lbp.me/img/bl/ebce362be789cafd36c46174be1583da1a0a6927.pngTsunam iedogan1Level 1: After neptuns death, priest Roland hired his weapon in his church. No one expected which desaster would happen. Atlantis became to a lonely place without life. The only ones who are still living there is a siren named Tsunami and her minions. Stop the priest to save Atlantis! Music by Weirdybeardy
Another one of those uncanny recommendations that I am glad someone posted here to Central, cause if not I might not have got to enjoy such a wonderful display of creator intuition. So I am under water without actually being underwater, ok, ok you caught my interest. So underwater physics are essentially the same as SpongeBob's underwater physics. Nice!!! this was a fun romp of a good time, with a pleasant storyline, beautiful scenery, and pretty dope platforming. Glad it was left in the recommendation thread from someone and for that I thank you for sharing and the creator for bringing this to the communityEdogan1 makes a welcome return to LBP with this visually stunning level. He’s done a great job of creating a beautiful underwater environment without a drop of water in sight. Shoals of fish swim by, fronds of seaweed sway in the current and it all has that muffled echoey underwater vibe. At the start of the level you’re greeted by a delightful mermaid who hardly pauses to say hello before roping you in to help rescue Atlantis. So off you set on a fairy-tale adventure that proves not to be without its dangers, not least my own arch-enemies, chestnuts, cunningly disguised as black sea urchins! It’s nicely lit, has a great sense of the vastness of the deeps and a wonderful relaxing soundtrack. The platforming is cool too with lots of wall jumping and grappling action. I do hope there’s a Part 2 as I was rather hoping to meet the villain of the piece but in the meantime this was a pleasure to play and a nice twist on the usual underwater level.

http://i7.lbp.me/img/bl/8374dd8c393cd04a12cdee26b4a5c594bbc57fce.pngFine Dining FiascoFlat_PormerTwin brothers, Ravolini and Sergitoni are master chefs on a mission. They are trying to find the secret ingredients to their most famous creation. Sackboy is ready to lend a hand and his appetite.
I just want to get my chef hat on and speak in an Italian accent throughout this review. Right from the start meeting these two fantastic brothers Ravolini and Sergitoni (who knew their names rhymed and are based off food) embarking you on a quest of finding the missing secret ingredient, I thought I was going to turn into Plankton from Spongebob trying to steal a secret formula from the Krusty Krab. I ended up going through one of the most beautiful platformers with a neat colorful pallete and entertaining gameplay. You'll be using the attract-o-gel once again and passing through food utensils and much more, I felt like I was in the kitchen of the movie Ratatouille. This platformer is perfectly lengthed with no section to bore you, and I hope we will see more of this hidden gem creator publishing more of their creating "fiasco" that we love dear to our sack hearts. With this level Flat-Pormer serves up a very enjoyable romp through a larger than life kitchen. As hyper says, it has something of the flavour of Ratatouille about it; possibly because of the scale of the kitchen or maybe it’s the comic backstory. Anyway, the level certainly looks good enough to feature in any film. From the two excitable chefs, to the amazing appliances, the scattered ingredients and even a not-so-very-small mouse, the attention to detail in the scenery is just superb. The gameplay is just as good. It makes extensive use of attracto-gel. This would not normally be a recommendation, but here it’s used cleverly, avoiding much of the frustration normally produced by AOG’s somewhat erratic physics. The level had a lot of charm, humour and a professional feel. So, whoever Flat-Pormer may be, newcomer or seasoned creator making a fresh start, I can only hope for more of the same.

dsmmat hands down has been added in my list of favorite LBP Karting Creators. The forgotten kingdom strikes you with very intricate design right from the beginning mixed will the well made dragons. DRAGONS! If only there was a slow motion segment in order for us to grasp the detail put into each and every beast hand crafted. Enjoy racing through a dark and mysterious atmosphere filled with lava and a well-structured ambience while aiming for first place. A kingdom fit for a king.. no wait.. a kingdom fit for a dragon? I gotta say I love this level. I grew up always fascinated by dragons, so to see this level made me very happy! Thank you dsmmat! Anyways, The level design is top-notch and keeps you wanting to see more. Also, the well made dragons, they really bring the level together. All-in-all this is a great level and totally recommend it for all Karting Owners.

Go from a building to another trough the breaking window ( and breakable if you are at the first place) , before you go down. Prizes available. Have fun.
Holy Moley! (No not Moley from Sackinima, though I'd be happy to dedicate this review in all of his Moley-ness) I instantly grasped the senses of being a parkour race in Karting. I have seen parkour levels across LBP but racing through building to building and jumping through smashed windows all the way to rooftop racing got me the feeling of mirror's edge on wheels, and cute and well dressed sackthings. You will easy feel the sense of freedom and action entering buildings, going up to the top and enter the sense of flying onward to the next lap of the race.Nikos has really done a good job giving this level a parkour feel. You'll have to jump from roof to roof in this spectacular parkour themed level. A window in your way? Just bust through it. Even the small rooms and roof tops have a lot of detail put into it. Nothing can slow you down in this race, you're a parkour champ!
