Paintinator fire other stuff?...

You are definitely thinking of the creatinator. The creatinator is exactly like a paintinator (AKA a portable emitter that fires paint balls) except you decide what is thrown out. You don't need a sackbot to use the creatinator. | 2014-03-16 22:03:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |
No. No I'm not. If you get out a paintinator and then get out a sackbot and pass it through the paintinator so it picks it up. You then press in L3 to copy the sackbot and when you press X to place the copy, keep X held down and it will let you change the paintinators ammo. I know what you mean, it's something that should have been thought about. As far as I know there isn't a way to do it with your character, only the Sackbot. However you could use a transmitter and receiver to control the Sackbot and make him look how you want. But besides that, the only way for an actual looking gun is to make one. It might have been a glitch in LBP1 or previous updates of LBP2. I think there is some glitch to use the paintinator as a decoration on your sackbot/boy by breaking the base (I could be way off on that, but i remember someone doing something like that (or maybe I made it up and am delusional )). | 2014-03-17 03:51:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |
It is a glitch but you can do it now in LBP2 and it's not for decoration. If you take control of the sackbot you can fire the paintinator as usual and change its ammo with the technique above ^^^^ But seeing as i've been away from LBP for a while I was just hoping someone might have made it possible without the sackbot. If you make the level single player you can make an invisible object that follows the player and is controlled by a controlinator set to nearest player. The object can be wired to the right stick controls. Pop an emitter on it and there you go. Set the paintinator to the least amount of ammo, I don't know if 0 is possible.
