Hey guys, You know it's not like me to go a-clicking the new thread button but I think this is worthy :3. As a loving fan of ScrewAttack, I keep up with the gaming News with their daily news segment titled "Hard News". I found an interesting video just now :3. It was posted two days ago, but I have been busy with school. Anyway, This video had news about Fallout 4 and Killzone 2. What on earth could this news be?! Well. Heres the quote from Screwattacks source: It's hard not to think about the next ?Fallout? game, and while Bethesda is quiet about ?Fallout 4,? they?ve said they intend to make more ?Fallout? games, so we asked the company to name their biggest lessons learned from making ?Fallout 3.? *** ?Fallout 4″ is coming eventually. The massive success of ?Fallout 3,? combined with previous statements from Bethesda Softworks that they intended to produce multiple ?Fallout? games support this. I have Fallout 3 myself and I am so amazingly happy to hear this. I was afraid that they would leave this series behind! The news about no ending and no level cap. That part is basically solid now... Kinda. Just so you know, Fallout 4 is just what is being presumed. "?Fallout 4″ is coming eventually." means that another fallout is coming and we are guessing that Fallout 4 is the name. Then again, it's not like they can screw THIS one up . Now, the news about Killzone 2! Quote timmmmmeeeee. Remember the marketing blitz that hit when Microsoft was gearing up for the launch of Halo 3? Well, don't be surprised if you catch at least a slight feeling of deja vu from Sony's Killzone 2. Okay, we're just kidding, unless somehow ?2 million winds up being worth $40 million. Sony still has plans, nonetheless, to get the word out. Launching in "mid-February," Sony-- or at least the UK branch of Sony, anyway-- is planning a multimedia marketing effort: "...Killzone 2's February 27th launch will benefit from massive broadcast support across TV and cinema, along with a major online campaign, in-store support and a great deal of PR activity. ...it has become clear to everyone who has seen it that we have a truly great product on our hands, something which is being reflected in the reviews. The great thing is it has lived up to that original billing and in doing so it brings a new energy to the most competitive genre. We need to prove that to as many people as possible, hence the massive campaign. Killzone 2 was always going to be an important title to show a glimpse of what PS3 has to offer as a mature platform." -- MCV Another method in which Sony will promote Killzone 2 is through a web game which will be available for Internet Explorer and Firefox users. The game will invite players to fight in teams against the 'Helghast threat.' "We're very excited about our online campaign. What we're attempting has never - to my knowledge - been done before, certainly as a piece of communication. In essence, we're creating a web game based on a Firefox and IE app that consumers can download to their computer, and where they can then create their squad consisting of up to three additional friends. They can alert their squad members to come and help them and if the team can collaboratively vanquish the Helghast threat, they'll get their score posted onto the leaderboard and be in with a chance to win some prizes and unlock additional content. Hopefully, they'll do a better job getting the word out than they did for LittleBigPlanet. Don't have much comment on that one.... Just that THATS A LOT OF MONEY. ya it was cool i heard / figured they were going to be making another one....at least they know people think its dumb to force that ending upon them and the level cap.
