Sweet, queued! -hyper | 2014-03-07 19:20:00 Author: hyperdude95 Posts: 1793 |
dangit shookie! queued but ticked about it. Bio -- I want pictures! Shookie *Nicholson voice* -- You want the pictures?" Bio -- I think I'm entitled to them. Shookie -- You want the pictures? Bio -- I WANT THE PICTURES! shookie -- exhales -- Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls sometimes don't have pictures. Who's gonna take them? You? You, Hyper? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for pictures, and you curse the H4Hers. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That H4Hers, while tragic, probably saved trending pages. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves cool pages. You don't want the pictures because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want no pictures on my wall, you need no pictures on that wall. We use words like spotlight, team pick, crown. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent creating something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and plays the very levels that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide them. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you open your popit, and create a post. Either way, I don't give a dang what you think you are entitled to! Bio -- Did you take the pictures? Shookie -- I created the.. Bio -- DID YOU TAKE THE PICTURES!? Shookie -- You danged right I did! Bio -- Then post them please. | 2014-03-07 20:27:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |

Very fun and polished levels! I really liked how simple and neat you kept the story, although some voiceacting for those smooth rhymes wouldn't have hurt, especially since I among others are slow readers. I felt stressed trying to read the bubble and also catching he rhymes before it skipped to the next one, heh. But whatevs! Gameplay is very polished and works well, it is just on the border of stuff one have already seen but IMO it's sorta fresh enough. Nothing really ground breaking or awe inspiring in this compartment but still a lot of fun. There were a couple of places where layer changing was disabled, breaking the rules you had for your levels for whatever reason but except for that stuff worked pretty well. I guess my only real complaint is that there isn't really any buildup for a grand finale or even a grand finale, you sorta just get to the dude with the underpants and..get the underpants. Where's the great conflict? The turn around? The awesome conclusion in which the hero realizes he can totes do it and turn things around? Again, whatevs. I can see you wanted to keep the story clean and simple and I get that. Again, VERY fun levels, well done. Definitely the best from you I've played. Thanks for this! Had a blast. Oh, and guess who got the HS on the score chain level? This guy! | 2014-03-08 11:45:00 Author: Mnniska Posts: 531 |
Thanks for the feedback so far. @Mnniska...yes I agree about the ending. The thermo was killing me so I had very little room to do what I had planned at the end. I had to keep it simple. But I also realized that in itself could be humorous although most will probably not get my humor in that aspect. If you have time take a look into don quixote. Might make it funnier. thanks. Oh and congrats on top score. | 2014-03-08 12:12:00 Author: shookie99 Posts: 447 |
Great trilogy! I smiled the whole time. The environment is nice, the story is funny and the gameplay is very enjoyable. Excellent | 2014-03-08 16:52:00 Author: avundcv Posts: 2526 |
Hey Shook, gave an in-depth level dissection over at LBN, so I won't repeat here. I had fun with this series, part two being the best of the three for me. A bit more color and character voices would have brought the levels up a notch, but it is very enjoyable as is. Good luck buddy! | 2014-03-08 18:02:00 Author: kaiju_kid Posts: 329 |
