So these AMA/AAA/AFAA threads, in your opinion how many infraction points will be handed out.2014-03-05 20:48:00

Well, the staff here have a history of deleting my threads like "Are they coming onto me?" for no particular reason with no given explanation nor infraction points, so I suppose that if this trend becomes a new litter-box of the general chat, they will just do so on a larger scale.

(Kidding, though I do guess the end result would in that case be exactly that.)

I got a fun one for you:

An electron is accelerated horizontally from rest in a television picture tube by a potential difference of 5,500 V. It then passes between two horizontal plates 6.9 cm long and 1.3 cm apart that have a potential difference of 236 V. At what angle θ will the electron be traveling after it passes between the plates?

I did physics at college but I'll be ****ed if I can remember the equations for that. Would genuinely be quite interested in seeing the calculation and solution

I had to do it yesterday for my physics class. It took me half an hour to figure it out and calculate it all.2014-03-06 01:27:00

Even if I knew the answer to that question in Finnish, there's no way that I, a male in the best age would spend time on this forum, if you don't mind me saying.

Is Pepsi okay?

Okay is probably the best term to use about its quality.

Hate people who say Pepsi tatses the same as Coke. Very rarely is a vodka + coke actually a vodka + Coke and that make me sad. KFC only do Pepsi as well. Gah.2014-03-06 14:22:00

Yeah, a lot of places tend to use Pepsi instead of Coke... think it may be cheaper? But people will always order a "Coke", not a "Pepsi". They do taste different though. You'd be able to tell easier if you drank them side by side.

If I was braver, I would get refunds for half of my cokes I buy at restaurants because they always fill it up with that cold, sweet coffee.2014-03-06 14:41:00

I think nothing has ever given quite as accurate description of Dr. Pepper than south park season 15 episode "Poor Kid":

"Beverages you may take from the refridgerator as you like. HOWEVER, in this household you will drink only agnostic beverages: Dr Pepper and Diet Dr Pepper, because what flavour is it? It is neither root beer nor cola. Nobody is sure what flavour it is and nobody can be sure. Isn't that right... Melissa!?"

"I don't know."

"GOOD!"
