hello! I just played it. Was really digging it until I got to this point here in the pic.

no clue what to do here. Tried jumping this gap about a hundred times until I finally just gave up and returned to pod. Oh wait, looking at this pic, do you wall slide down that wall on the left then jump right?

Very good level. There are a few complains I can make about it, but overall, it's much better than what I though from the pictures. The reason is that pictures don't quite capture the spirit of the level, as the fun is in the gameplay. They even look quite dull, to be honest, but I am not here to review them.

The level itself is charming, fun-to-play, if a bit too short swamp-level. And you really can't go wrong with the swamp-levels, to be honest. The gameplay is smooth, the secrets were a very nice addition, though not very 'secret', as in you either could see them all where they were, nor was their existence very secretive, but that's beside the point. Oh, points! There should've been more of them. That's all I can really say about them.

The music was custom, I assume, as I haven't heard it before, if it wasn't. It was good, it had no lasting impact but it was a good track. A bit too light-hearted and lively considering the background was black, but that's a nitpick. In fact, most of the actual flaws I can find here are nitpicks or personal preferences. However, there is one negative aspect to the level that isn't technically a flaw, because it isn't something addition of which makes the level weaker.

The level just never went far enough with anything. There should've been more points, there should've been more detail in the visuals, there should've been more tiny details such as insect-noises when you pass a bush or something. This level doesn't have that. It doesn't feel alive, it doesn't have teeth. It feels indifferent instead of something you should remember. Formula-made instead of vivid. Good instead of great. One can't either love this or hate this because this doesn't do enough big things to be loved or hated. The level falls short in every aspect, but it doesn't suck in any way.

Still, the level is very good, as I said. It just doesn't have a there there. However, I can still suggest this level to be played, because the last thing it'll do is drag on.

As you know, these are my personal criticisms based on personal preferences and in no way mean that the level is exactly how I say it is. I just tell how things are in my honest opinion. If I were to give this a number, I'd probably go for 6 or 7 out of 10.

That same spot killed me about 15x before by accident I learned I could slide and jump! I have to admit I’m still not used to sliding up and down wall in LBP…

This level did a nice job combining deco, stickers and death throughout in a dark and gloomy atmosphere. Perhaps a little more “gloom” here and there would have added even more to the experience. I’m thinking of fog or maybe some land sharks that bite your dolphin tail off. I couldn’t tell at the end if I had gotten the secretes or not? Was it just the bigger bubbles or did I miss something else? I think I got all the bigger bubbles except maybe one. I thought the big bubble placement was pretty good, but I wouldn’t call them secrets, so I must have missed the secrets, right?

I played this the other day and quite enjoyed it. It did take me a few attempts to notice that wall-jump too so maybe throw a bit of light on it to make it stand out a bit more? Other than that a fun little level that looks great 2014-02-28 11:02:00
