I think it's a nice concept, but I'm nervous about the compatibilty and adaption to regular gamers. Oculus Rift is coming in at 2000$ That's a HUGE amount of money. I know that over time the pricetag won't matter much. I do think that the VR headset could benefit to some solid role playing games, such as Skyrim. But I doubt it would function correctly when playing twitch shooter like Titanfall or Battlefield. I would LOVE to see the VRH used in a First Person action game. Not necessarily shooters, but Thief, Mirror's Edge etc. Heck, may even Assassin's Creed. -- Jauw

Any thoughts? If they do have VR for the PS4, would you buy it and use it? Any games you think would benefit? Doesn't VR necessitate high, consistent framerates to avoid smearing and disorientation? How is the PS4 going to manage that without the games looking terrible? Oculus Rift is coming in at 2000$ Closer to $200.

So... :/ If one has a video game company entity, you can get a dev kit for free through paper work. However, parts to create Oculus Rift at the moment are scarce for the production is going to be delayed for a bit. :/ -hyper

Just another way for Sony to lose more money. If it's just an optional (expensive) accessory, not everyone will have it, which means very few games will support it/use it...they don't really have any incentive to make their games compatible with it...But if it shipped with the PS4, then maybe it could be very successful, like with FPS games. But I doubt that would happen.

If this happens. I bet it'll be another expensive gimmick they'll try to shoehorn in LBP later as a optional DLC kit that Sony will hope will sell some of the gear. Of course that'll be silly. Way to expensive just to use it on a LBP. The pack would not sell hardly at all because of it. I could still see it happening and them trying tho. x'D *mew

They confirmed a conference for something with the guys behind the Move and Eye. Dunno what but it's a given it'll be for VR. I do wonder what games they'll announce for compatibility...
