Hey all Centralians!

I've decided to make this thread to congratulate all the Awesomesauce Pin recipients. There are a ton of skilled and talented creators out there, but only a few sackthings has proven themselves to be awarded the Awesomesauce Pin. Here are some of the first recipients of the Pin:

Community Curator's Challenge
Two AwesomeSauce pins were awarded as prizes in the Move Madness contest at LittleBigWorkshop. The first was given to ScorpSkull on 22 November 2011 for an exceptional level employing the tools introduced in the Move Pack. The second was issued to Natuhito on 3 December 2011 for an impressive image created with the Paint tool.

LittleSigPlanet
It was announced on 9 April 2012 that AwesomeSauce pins would be given to the creators of LittleSigPlanet: bagheadinc, bludhound, and Tyler_stewart. Their website generates lovely banners with which users may fashionably promote levels on community fora.

Pocket Moon Podcast
It was revealed on 26 June 12 that AwesomeSauce pins had been awarded to the hosts of the Pocket Moon Podcast, John Holtkamp (a.k.a. amazingflyingpoo) and Tom Ross (a.k.a. Taffey/tsr13). The show is noted for its prominent guests and detailed discussions of community events.

LBP Hub
LBP Hub, an iPhone app which accesses and improves upon LBP.me, was released on 31 August 2012. Community Coordinator Steven Isbell subsequently tweeted that the app's developer, John Holtkamp (a.k.a. amazingflyingpoo), was the first person to be "more awesome than Awesomesauce... Looks like we need a new Pin". This implies that he would have been awarded the AwesomeSauce pin for LBP Hub if he had not already received it by means of the Pocket Moon Podcast. Instead he been given opportunity to choose who will get the pin, he choose ShadowriverUB was rewarded for sparking the idea, as well as creation of LittleBigAudio and his LBPWiki contribution.

Surge Lite
The 18 February 2013 edition of Sack it to Me announced that a Rare Prize Crown and AwesomeSauce pin had been awarded to community member evret for creating a LittleBigPlanet PS Vita version of the mobile game Surge.
This so impressed the game's creators at FuturLab that they called for such honours to be granted to him!

Seasonal Spirit
Sack it to Me revealed on 08 April 2013 that AwesomeSauce pins and Rare Prize Crowns were granted to happy gadders bigsurf77, chaosgear, and Tropical_Guner for consistently marking real world holidays with appropriately festive levels. Sackfolk seeking calendar-appropriate revelry need look no further than these cheerful chums!

Most Recent 17/02/14
And the most recent recipients was Enigma_0123, Adel22 and Comishguy67 for making some amazing games that features the newly implemented Memoriser. You can check out the link to the blog post announcing this: http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/02/17/littlebigplanet-update-featured-games-community/

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the heads up guys, but I only listed some of the recipients. I know almost all of them, but I just wanted to list a few, until LBPWiki gets online

That's awesome! Some people got this rare pin for making their own video games inside LBP2 (with the memorizer). Whoever got the pin, congratulations!2014-02-18 18:47:00

I wish they'd give me one... though at the same time, then I'd be conflicted which pins to wear...2014-02-19 04:19:00

Well I personally don't need the pin. I can try to be successful, but not in LBP.

One does not simply strive to earn the pin, it just happens. (Insert triple H meme here )

actually I don't equate success in LBP to the awesomesauce pin. I just equate it to the notion that u did something extraordinary for the game such as make uber cool utube channel, utilized an in game tool in a fashionable sense, made a helpful tool/webdsite, or did something that made the powers to be, say "&*$# Yeah"

As for Hellcat, I dunno. He's a legitimately great creator, but he doesn't have a lot of published work.

Why are the reasons so important? They got the pin... almost like concerning yourself with why folks get picks or not. Do we really need the microscope?

It's not important, but it's a public pin, I don't see any reason to keep the reason private. It's just interesting to know how they got it, is that so bad?

It's always great to know who these great recipients are along with their details! Great thread, Jauw!
This thread reminded me of my own Crown Recipients thread! I'm thinking about reviving it and putting more people on with a better presentation, but I would need to conduct further investigations through PMs and such for certain "recipients"...

Did anyone mention yu-kamone about the awesomesauce pin? I wonder if he is a member of the JMC (or if he got it from dominating the team picks).

And I wonder how jwwphotos got the applesauce pin.

p-p-j and I each got the awesomesauce pin for making the lbp speedrunning guide: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSx6AAsHna_RfnlWu61ndeZ5HQ0i83Mpr

I don't remember when. It was probably a couple days after we released part 1 (basic tricks).
