Finding A Fanny: Castle Dragone!

Archive: 10 posts

A level series I've been working on for quite a while, now. Every time I'd finish, I'd realize I got slightly better at creating and restarted only to have the same thing happen!

Anyway, this series is a little silly platforming series where you're the neighbor of a 7 mile long reptile named Princess Dragone! After her guards went on vacation, a bunch of little monsters got into her castle and started wreaking havoc! However, she's so long that she can't even find her own tail, but she can feel it being attacked. It's up to you to go through her castle and stop the monsters from attacking her!

Hope you guys enjoy! Part 2 is pretty much done, but needs a few more tweaks.

EDIT: Finished up Part 2: The Library! The final part is gonna take a while since I've barely started on it.

Also, thank you for all of the feedback so far, everyone!

Sounds funny queued

Edit after playing it:

Yay. It's a very nice level in this great old fashioned platforming style.
I totally like it

Great job

I'd just like to say thank you for all the plays and reviews so far! Greatly appreciate all of the pointers and advice (and pictures on where some of you got stuck, no idea how I didn't see those before!). I'm going to try harder to work a bit more on mixing materials to make the level look more appealing and less "passive" gameplay (I've realized you don't even need to push any buttons on a few segments, which gets a little boring after a while!)

Again, thank you to everyone for the feedback and constructive criticism!

I know "fanny" is American for "bum" or "bottom" as well as a woman'd name but here in New Zealand it can be a name AND the other womanly part round the front lower region so the title seems a little odd to me. I guess there is no offence meant by the creator though Just FYI.2014-02-18 01:13:00

...Oooooh...
Welp, better change that. I just used it for alliteration, haha. Thanks for the heads up!

Edit: Changed the series name to "Find That Behind!"

Me: "Finding a Fanny, huh? I wonder what a fanny is..."

Me: *Check dictionary*

Me: "Oh."

This level speaks to me on a spiritual level. I might queue it.
