My current concern is how everything appears to go under radar on this site nowadays. Recently, I have got three of my posts deleted for no explained reason. One of them was even a heavily thanked thread. And yes, it was deleted instead of being locked. It wasn't offensive, as anyone who saw it can tell and the other posts I made were mostly made in self defense against passive aggressive behavior targeted at me and ConverseFox (and they didn't include any bad language or anything else that falls outside of the forum's posting guidelines). I have experienced this earlier, in minor ways and the thing that concerns me the most is how nobody 1) explains this in any way or 2) even knows how this is going on. My suggestion? Whenever a post gets deleted there must always be a note left to that person including why it was deleted in the first place and we should also stop enabling selective ignoring. I reported the offensive post I mentioned earlier for a good, valid reason and the only thing that happened was that my own thread got deleted with no explanation. As far as I know, we are an open community, so we might as well start acting like one.

We read and review all reported posts carefully before deciding whether to take action. In this case, we didn't see any indications of other users breaking any rules. Unfortunately people are post things that you don't like from time to time, but if it's not in violation of our rules, you're going to have to just ignore those users and threads. What you should NOT do is take it upon yourself to lash out at and/or bully other community members. That is something that we do not tolerate here and we remove those posts immediately.

Fair enough, but this still doesn't explain why the thread I created myself (as I earlier stated, in no offense to anyone)) was removed, when you could have simply locked it if it was too big of a "spam-can". Also, I do find it kind of silly that the definition of bullying on this site consists more around taking action in verbal self-defense, rather than than several cases over the years when players are basically being called "not worthy of being on this site" or "disgusting embarrassments to the site". I do understand that it is impossible to please everyone and I more than understand not trying to please someone like me, as I am probably considered the most hated person on this forum, but the guidelines with these sorts of things need to be made more physical. Also, out of fairness, if people asks explanation for these kinds of things, explanations should be given to them so they don't need to specifically ask for them publicly.

Whilst yeah you have pretty big viewpoints on stuff, and good on you for being passionate about some tings, I wouldn't put yourself down like that. For one thing... comparing "over the years" to today does not really wash. We have listened to many complaints and suggestions in the recent past and feel we have adapted to address those ideas and concerns. We really are nice people. ..and no, we don't hate you at all. Here again is what we ask. If you feel someone is attacking you personally or posting something against the rules. Use the report button. There is no reason to post using what you say is "self defense". That can just go out of control or worse, seemingly bullying someone else. As Chaz said, we will not stand for it and remove those posts instantly. True we should let you know, but on those days that several posts have been removed and others keep on posting. It takes awhile to respond so be patient. If we forget, just ask via a pm. I think mostly it is a problem of perspective due to this being the internet. We could really learn quite a bit if we would simply give each other the benefit of the doubt rather than overreacting and instantly suspecting the worst.

The problem with that kind of thought pattern is that you can't make distinctions like that. The moment you stoop to their level, you become no better than the bullies. Of all the online communities, the LBP one should know that all too well. Also, out of fairness, if people asks explanation for these kinds of things, explanations should be given to them so they don't need to specifically ask for them publicly. I don't know why your thread was deleted, but bear in mind that demanding an explanation the way you did isn't the same as asking for one. If you have an issue, please message one of us privately and ask for one...we're more than happy to help if there's a genuine problem. ...as I am probably considered the most hated person on this forum... I sincerely hope you don't really think that. From a moderation standpoint, you're nowhere near the top of the list
