Hi there, this is what may well be my last level on this game for a while so listen up y'all.

You play as Dave, a nice brotherly figure playing a game of hide and seek in the woods, then everything gets pretty cray cray. Features a boss battle at the end which hopefully isn't too difficult!

It also uses this dual world new portal mechanic that I've been trying out which is, a little bit buggy, but hey yolo. Hint hint: Blue stuff tends to alter in the nether world.
Would really appreciate your feedback! c:

I have to confess: I didn't reach the end, but this has been more because of my lack of time! Its been fascinating to learn by trial and error to find the right way step by step! Be sure that I will try it once again

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Hiya, flamingemu. (:

Pretty nice level you got here. I like the unique style of gameplay. The portal idea is pretty smart, but I'm afraid there are some flaws to it. It sometimes rejects the player into getting into the sackbot but it does activate the what it is suppose to activate (e.g. bouncebads & pipes).
This may not be a flaw but using "hologram" is a bad idea. I would use sticker panel, assuming you have the move pack. The only reason I would understand to use it would be for the little line movement animation, if that's the case go ahead and use it.

The gameplay, like stated above, is unique and fun. Though it may be hard it is fun, that is if you're into hard levels. Lowering the difficulty may not hurt though. The hardest part, in my opinion, was were the corrupted sackthings would bounce in the pipes.
This part:

Not in regular mode but in "portal mode" It's not hard to time it right for getting in the moved pipe (Left one) but rather than making your to the switch due to the plasma on the floor. I would completely remove the plasma there. I also managed to break it, lol.

The boss fight, now that's a completely different story, I DID NOT LIKE ONE PART OF IT, I REPEAT, I COMPLETELY DESPISED THIS PART:

At first glance it looked completely hectic and random. After some thought I realized there was a pattern but that pattern was completely shattered due to the lazer. This part required more luck rather than skill. "Luck" is terrible system for a boss fight, only because it puts the player at a HUGE disadvantage. Before this part the boss fight was pretty good I also did manage to beat it.

What I really admire is that for the most part brain and strategy is required. Makes the player pay more attention to their surroundings. (:

Good job, flame, really looking for more levels from you. And thanks for sharing. (:

Very good level.
I like the gameplay design. Some parts are really demanding.
Well done!

This was a fun challenge. The difficulty was never a huge issue though having it be a bit easier wouldn't be too bad.

I did break the moving pipe on the last puzzle before the boss. It just fell off during its movement. In that same section, I had a bit of an issue getting to that back layer to use the jump pad or go to the switches. That might have just been me though.

Also, during the boss battle during the sequence before pulling the last switch, I found that I could stand on the very rightmost platform and have the beam not activat at all. It would just bounce up and down in place.

Finally, I didn't have to pull the last switch to end the battle, it just ended on its own once the switch started dropping. I actually kept moving after the camera changed and died (which is itself is its own problem) so I never had a chance to pull it.

So, some broken parts and bit of faulty logic, but for the most part things seemed to work correctly and were resonably enjoyable.

Looks energetic. Will have to play.

EDIT: The review

I really want to get something out of the way. When reviewing stuff, my favourites are the levels with visible enthusiasm and affection for the level while it was being created. Levels that are good are great to review. Analyzing outright disasters? That can be fun! However, one kind of level/anything that I hate reviewing is the notably flawed. I'm not lying, there are moments when Dave looks and feels dang near perfect and I really would just like to appreciate the level for what it is, but then I realize that the level is horribly disfigured in some way and I feel like I need to make a note of that.

In this case the said disfigurement comes in the form of the level being both fun and pretty, but also being spectacularly broken on a technical standpoint. The level feels just as much of a fun, unique adventure through a dairy-obsessed monster's (that can open portals to different dimensions) cave as it feels like running away from the shadow of a crumbling tower. On one hand, I just love it for what it is, or it feels like I do, but on the other hand I absolutely detest how everything in the level is broken.

I needed to restart the level to get through it, which is never good, but here I felt like I would need to do so several times, before realizing that the way the level was broken at that point was not game-breaking. Technically speaking, the final boss was the highlight of the level, not only being funny for existing but also making me pray that it would hold together, which it did. However. However, the moment I finished the battle the level quickly went out of its way to remind that it was broken. When the boss died, its "seek-the-player-and-kill-them-laser" activated, actively searching for a player to kill.

I got past it and I could finish it, but it just left a sour taste in my mouth.

So as you see, I really liked the level for committing to being absolutely insane and just as unique and energetic as it is. I even loved the level for that, or it feels like I did at least. However, due to being as broken and disfigured, I can't really suggest it to anyone.

(F4F for the level in my signature.)
