http://lbp.me/v/qqktqbc Macanix (http://lbp.me/v/qqktqbc) Hi everybody, I haven't posted anything on here in a couple of years, but maybe a couple of you will remember me.... This is a level I made mostly a couple of years ago, before I went on break from lbp. I got the urge to create, so decided maybe I'll finish up some of my old projects. I added some newer elements and got it finished up. As all my platformers always are, this one is pretty difficult. My main focus is on aesthetics. I was going for high detail in a steampunk environment. It's just straight platforming, no story or anything.... Hope you guys like it! http://lbp.me/p/rv9e0vg http://lbp.me/p/rv9e15v http://lbp.me/p/rv99c12 http://lbp.me/v/qqktqbc | 2014-02-08 22:54:00 Author: smasher Posts: 641 |

Your steampunk design is fantastic. Love the way you mafe the gameplay. I think hard gameplay is more funny than easy. Great lvl | 2014-02-09 20:28:00 Author: Sandro8708 Posts: 625 |

Unfortunately I believe we are the minority... I've always tried to keep my levels fair though. I never liked cheap deaths... | 2014-02-09 22:33:00 Author: smasher Posts: 641 |
This is awesome!!! The visuals are great and the gameplay is absolutely fantastic. The obstacles are clever and very well designed. It was a little bit too hard for me, but I will try it again. Here we really have a masterpiece of a platforming level! Excellent! | 2014-02-10 07:44:00 Author: avundcv Posts: 2526 |
I have to say the more I play this level the more I love it. You have created some great obstacles - so many ingenious ways to kill a Sack! Both sets of moving walls with rotating saws were awesome and I really liked your portable wall jump too, very neat! It is hard but it's nice to have something to get your teeth stuck into. That final section with the beautiful rotating wheels with saws is a real stretch because you have to be so accurate as to where you land on each blue wall and as to the timing of your jumps. It takes me so many attempts before I get lucky enough to time everything right but it's a fantastic climax to the level. The atmosphere is great too all grungy and dangerous and cool! The amount of detail you have in there is insane - I had to keep stopping to admire all those decos. I did find some bits of the level confusing on my first playthrough. For one thing, I thought I'd missed a chunk of the level by accident and only realised on a second run through that it was the shortcut for those who can't pass the conveyor belt walls with the saws. I have also managed twice to accidentally push against that switch which drops down to give you a shortcut past the huge wheel with electrified sides. I just ran into to it without noticing it! It's a shame it can't drop to the left of the checkpoint so that you can avoid it more easily. Anyway, I am really loving playing this and as I have only managed to find 4 out of the 7 secrets I'm sure I'll be playing it a lot more! Thank you so much for finishing it off <3 | 2014-02-14 11:54:00 Author: shropshirelass Posts: 1455 |

Thank you so much for finishing it off <3 Thanks shropshirelass! Glad you like it! Your one of the few that's finished it... Most players just give up. Guess they don't know what they're missing never could figure out why most people don't like the challenging levels.... Anyways, thanks so much for the feedback. I really appreciate it. After being gone for a couple of years my friend list has shrunk down to almost nothing and the ones still left are never on anymore. Without my crew I'm left to testing all alone, so no feedback. No worries tho I made a couple changes based on the feedback. The first part by the belt walls, I put a few bubbles over the little bridge letting people know that's the way to go. The second thing. I removed that switch entirely and made it so that now it tells you to grab the gauge on the wall. You can walk right by, or grab it. No accidental triggering anymore. Thanks again for the feedback | 2014-02-14 23:43:00 Author: smasher Posts: 641 |
Smasher - I'll try to remember to add you next time I'm online. I would be glad to help you test your next joint. As for this one, I played it awhile back and for the life of me I just couldn't get past the first cog section and red electric barrier. It wasn't for not trying either, as I probably spent 20 minutes trying all sorts of things. What on earth was I doing wrong? Anyone? | 2014-03-02 04:21:00 Author: peoriaspitfire Posts: 359 |

As for the level, when you bounce on the bounce pads on the big cog, you'll see it light up underneath the pad. Once you get them all lit up, it unlocks the switch letting you proceed. Hope that helps! Thanks | 2014-03-04 21:45:00 Author: smasher Posts: 641 |
SMASHER!!!!!!!!! You rock! This level about killed me, but wow! Incredible visuals, pulse-pounding game play. There was several times I almost put a controller-shaped hole through my brand new 65" TV.... but I wouldn't change a thing. Nice job! | 2014-03-09 03:05:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
