Help... I have gas problems!

Archive: 5 posts

No ... I don't need to see a doctor or change my diet. I'm talking in-game gas problems (although I probably should eat less cheese now that I think of it).

Erhm... anyways. I am having a problem with the colour of my gas being saved. What I've done is create a platform in three layers that are all glued together. The top layer is metal, the second is cardboard that's been "electrified", and the third is another substance (likely glass) that has been turned to gas. I've saved that as an object and I'm running it off an emitter with a switch. The problem is that the gas was blue when I saved the object, but it always emitts as the standard green coloured gas instead. I have another layer of gas that's running on an emitter in a similar fashion in another area of the level, but is not glued to anything and is a "stand-alone" object. It too is emitting in green instead of the red I chose.

Anyone else have this problem? Is this a bug of some kind? It seems to only be happening when I'm running objects from an emitter... all the other gas objects save their colour.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks all!

It's a bug.

Emitted gas just goes back to green.

I've noticed it when you save an object and then put it in again. That's annoying enough. It happens on emitted gas too? That is quite a bummer .

Good that you made the gas-> doctor joke already because I totally was coming in here for some cheap pun
