Bamboozled - IGP

Alright guys I bring you the 3rd track in the first cup in the IGP
Its called Bamboozled

I'm satisfied with the final outcome of this track.

We are now taking the race to the Bamboo Grove. Were Grand Master Sense is getting ready to go out for a round of bingo, I'm also Introducing a new character Kung Poo ( Her sidekick ).

This track features a few straights. I designed these tracks, teaching people to drift. So they can master their karting skills.

I did the best I could to faithfully bring Grandmaster Sensei in karting. I'm doing the best I can with incorporating a good story in a kart racing game lol there will be a plot twist and things of that sort in the coming tracks and battles.

Various villians returning. Negativitron, The Collector.

Additionally Im giving the Hoard a proper theme and Curator. So stay tuned

Played it!

Loved he aesthetics, it was a gorgeous track.

I did have some trouble on it, though. The camera was very close to the kart and low, so it was very difficult to see anything. The other IGP tracks weren't like this, so I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, or what the story is behind this - I didn't catch it. Also, I'm not sure of the layout of the track, I got really confused. In the second lap, I turned left right after the start line, and went 3/4 the way around the track, backwards, before I ran off track. It then reset me going the other way, the original forward direction, where I drove, and completed lap 2 after passing the starting line again - where not long after this the bots finished the track due to them not having doubled lap 2. Is that a bug? Or is here a feature I'm not understanding?

I would love to play it again with a better understanding of what's going on.

I'm trying to picture what area confused you ? lol are you talking about the area after the first Torii, that leads the players to the sandy area?

II had to turn off automatic reset, because the game wouldnt let me place anymore breadcrumbs, in the sandy area. so to fix that issue i turned off reset! Figured the player would get that there was only 2 paths to take at the start of the track.

As camera I pulled it closer to the kart because I wanted the players to get a feel for the sense speed of the karts and mainly I wanted them to experience the tracks how I see them, but I will republish the track fixing these issues.

I forgot to mention personally with the camera pulled out the karts look like they are going slow, if you noticed in all the videos I record the camera is at 10%

Additionally the Fog that happens on the 3rd lap is intentional, I did that to mix things up kind of make players catious of what is to come since they cannot far ahead kind of a lil suspense to the race haha. I wanted to make it a unique feature that made this level unique. Its something I have planned for the coming tracks.

It was right after the start line, on the docks still. There is a line that goes off to the left (that has weapon pods on it, so I assume its the other path), which then shortly takes another left and opens onto the docks section right before the the start line. I could have taken a left, I suppose, and crossed the start line to finish lap 2 in 5 seconds, but I took a right. I must have confused the pathing of the alternate path.

I played through all your IGP tracks, since this ones the most recently bumped I'll put my comment here.

They were all enjoyable, if a little easy for my taste. However, I did notice one glaring thing. I imagine you bumped up the kart speed a bit. I say this because on Bamboozled I managed to keep a pace that kept a homing missile in the red warning icon but it never quite caught me in the 2 laps it was chasing me. If you want to use the LBP provided weapons that's fine, but redo the logic on the homing weapons to speed them up a bit so they can actually harass players who know what they're doing.

Other then that, good work. Keep it up.

Ohhhh I got it know hahaha

Instead of going left, your making a right.

I'll fix that haha. Ill just turn on the reset. And I'll raise the sign pointing to the right. I feared that this would of happened! thank for letting me know
