What I think would be a great idea would be to have a hub of levels, or to have a list of people to join so you can join new people instead of the same people, or with the hub instead of the list, you could at least join people with the same interests which would also be better then complete randomness, or even worse, repetition

Sounds promising, I have auto-reject on for random players most of the time, but sometimes I turn it off just to see who I get.

I've had the same three (different) people join me numerous times. Is it that most people simply don't use the dive-in feature.

I hate diving in right now. I always get some little kid who yells into a mic and refuses to play a level. They just sit in their pods. Doing nothing. Anything to fix this feature would be greatly appreciated.

The dive in feature has been kind to me for the most part. I do occasionally get someone join and then leave before I could even exit my pod controller. It's a great way to get people to play your levels, obviously you ask them first.
