Quick question on the (seemingly) almighty memorizer

Archive: 4 posts

So this "memorizer" tool... if I understand the basics, it's meant to memorize the current data inputted even after you leave the level.

If that is the case then I need clarification on something: could I use the memorizer to make my level look different upon playing it a second time? I really need to get this off my chest so I can continue with my project. (Also I know I'm practically revealing my idea but I'm willing to take that risk)

If that's NOT the case then lol.

Thanks again. :]

Howdy

Yes it can by using emitters and destroyers that can be triggered by memoriser outputs. I'm doing something similar in my new levels in which the starting 'hub' is affected by other levels that are completed. It's tricky....but do-able!

Yes. Just find some trigger to that causes it to save an 'activated' switch for one of its ports.

This post answers quite a bit more about the memorizer but it is a little different because it's for vita but the actual tool is the same. The only thing different is other tools in that tutorial
