This is so good! The mechanicals you created are fantastic. The abilities (for example to jump) are grandious! And the bird looks funny Excellent level! | 2014-01-03 17:02:00 Author: avundcv Posts: 2526 |

A very unique and fun level. And I even beat the highscore. ^^ But as I mentioned in the comment, there are two issues I wasn't all that happy about. First: The eating angle is just too small, to consider it "fun" to collect those bubbles. Although you'll probably do it anyway for the highscore. ^^ Second: You let players skip the easy parts - but not the challenges later on. This can be frustrating, since not everything was that clear explained. For example, how to move past those obstacles: http://if.lbp.me/img/ft/73f50c5cf56f1a7757e3fe019b7a000e4ff280f0.jpg It's clear in the picture - but I tried for minutes to jump over it or walk through it, since the solution wasn't explained or obvious to me. Some jump challenges more would also have been great, since the jump-mechanics offered the most fun besides the dance part at the end. (You hardly had to jump at all, if it weren't for the bubbles.) But otherwise a very refreshing level - thanks. | 2014-01-08 10:50:00 Author: Lumina Posts: 641 |
Even though the level artwork and design might be simplistic to some, I think it’s absolutely fantastic! You hit a homerun with the art style here. However, the one thing that bummed me out about the bird was his pace. I felt like I was walking in quicksand and it took too much effort to move even a small distance. The jump mechanic and other movements were all nice touches, but because of the small rage I had with the birds basic movement I didn’t get too far. I do like how you provide the noobs (in this case me) an option to skip past more difficult or annoying parts after a few failed attempts. Perhaps when I first played this, I was rushed for time, so I’ll try and give it another go soon and report back! Love your work! | 2014-01-08 17:43:00 Author: peoriaspitfire Posts: 359 |
