So i got a tweet from one my friends saying "EA is in trouble" and i thought that this was fake. So i went to saw one of these articles and you know what, that man wasn't kidding http://www.polygon.com/2013/12/11/5199452/lawfirm-kicks-off-investigation-into-ea-and-battlefield-4 Publisher Electronic Arts is currently under investigation by law firm Holzer Holzer and Fistel, LLC for possibly misleading investors and analysts regarding the quality of Battlefield 4, which has been plagued with problems across all platforms since it launched in late October. Holzer Holzer and Fistel is focusing its investigation on statements made between July 24, 2013 and December 4, 2013 regarding Battlefield 4's development, sales, and impact on EA's revenue and future projects. The Atlanta-based law firm is looking into whether EA violated federal securities laws during this time by making false statements about the game's status. The firm encourages those who purchased EA common stock between July 24 and Dec. 4 or who suffered investment losses during this year contact Holzer Holzer and Fistel attorney Marshall P. Dees regarding legal rights in this case. Holzer Holzer and Fistel is a law firm focused on representation of shareholders and investors and investigation of SEC violations. The company currently has a number of outstanding cases, including investigations into clothing retailer Urban Oufitters, Ventrus Biosciences and Lumber Liquidators Holdings. On Nov. 18, Battlefield's servers suffered DDOS attack, which was followed by two weeks of fixes and patches issued across all platforms to address various bugs and crashes. Last week, EA announced that it would cease work on future Battlefield 4 expansions until issues with the current state of the game have been rectified. As a result, on Dec. 6, EA's stock dropped 7.3 percent. Yesterday, DICE created a tracker page on the Battlelog forums for the top problems within the game and status updates on incoming fixes. Wow, EA is doomed if they don't fix this mess! What do you guys think about this? Do you think EA will lose and they'll learn there lesson or EA will still win and they'll still don't give a thing about Battlefield 4? Let me know!

It isn't helping. lol They usually have problems with a new release of BF, but this time it has been horrid. I think for every 10 attempts I make to play the game, it crashed around 6 - 7 of those attempts. Some of those, maybe one or two, it just flat crashes back out to windows. The rest of them it reboots my entire system which really upsets me to no end. 3 out of 10 tries is not great at all. Though to be fair, there are some times I can play 3 or more in a row without issue. I love the game to no end, but having to endure all the trauma just to play or load the thing is just horrible. I have a high end pc which includes one of the top rated gfx cards made to date, tons of fast memory and a ridiculously fast cpu all which should play the game at the Ultra settings without any issue. Even lowering the game down to lesser graphics modes and sound yields the same results.

Wow... That's like almost every game series ever in a single list I'd personally love to see die off. "crosses fingers" ;P *mew I love the Battlefield series. Lots of fun. They just need to fix it. BF3 still works fantastic and might go back to playing that for awhile. I would never play them on consoles though. Just too limited in the controls available.

I love the Battlefield series. Lots of fun. They just need to fix it. BF3 still works fantastic and might go back to playing that for awhile. I would never play them on consoles though. Just too limited in the controls available. Too bad the Battlefield series is being driven into the ground and used to push Origin. I feel sorry for DICE.

I think the Battlefield series needs to end for a variety of reasons that I won't go into now, so this news makes me smile. (Also, if Battlefield was cancelled, more of DICE's resources can go into Star Wars: Battlefront!) Of course, this is just a pipe dream, since EA won't let DICE stop making Battlefront until it's as run into the ground as most of EA's other gaming franchises.

Well, you might only represent 1 millionth of their profits or whatever but that's your 1 millionth. Also, you have to decide if the smug sense of superiority from making ethical decisions about video games is worth depriving yourself of them, especially if you like the games or developers. Since I have little self-esteem it doesn't take much to put that extra spring in my step, so I boycott companies like EA readily.
