Tilted! [1P]

The bad thing is: you are trapped in a room.
The good thing is: you can walk on the walls!
The bad thing is: the room is designed accordingly...

Tilted! is a puzzle maze where you can walk on walls, ceilings... and about everything, in a minimalistic setting.

This level was intended to be just a technical demo at first (hence the minimalistic setting), but it ended as a whole level, with a complete menu, tutorial and how-to if you want to craft your own sackbot that walks and jumps on the walls.

So, you will say, I just could have used Attract-o-gel everywhere, isn't it? It would have been easier, instead of creating a whole logic for a sackbot to walk and jump while shifting his center of gravity?
And I would answer in a manly way: "Easy is not the path I have chosen", then I would put glasses and walk away from explosions without looking behind me, while eagles riding motorcycles would make wheelies with the tires on fire. And Hans Zimmer would make the score.

You can bet that if it was hard making it, it will be hard for you to beat it.
To be honest... the level isn't that long. But my beta-players said it was rather vomit-inducing, a shortcut to headache, and I'm pretty sure one of them didn't say anything because of the seizure he had while playing it.

So, play it, judge it by yourself, and please do not blame me for any epilepsy problem that could ensue. There is a warning at the beginning of LBP2, and I think it was intended for this kind of levels...

This is a must for me! I've always been fond of the ability to control gravity and it seems that you have done something I have been wanting to do for a long time! Anyways, I'm very excited to try out what you have created! And thanks for the great presentation, the description alone got my attention and the pictures confirmed it; Consider it Queued!!! 2013-12-12 02:39:00

Sounds cool, i always like puzzle games. Also reminds me to those confusing pictures with hundrets of stairways leading to the exit - loved to solve them. i'll play it at the weekend2013-12-12 07:55:00

Thank you for your kind words! I'm beggining to have nice comments on this level, but maybe I should add a points system somewhere, so when players finish the level everybody doesn't get a zero? I feel a bit worried about not giving anything for those people who finished the level...

I don't want to add score bubbles (I seem to have a problem about sackbots not collecting them), and giving points when pushing buttons would give everybody the same score at the end, which sort of negates the effect of giving points at all. Any ideas would be welcome here...

Edit: I added a piece of logic giving 100 points to the player when he goes through a section, and only 10 points if he does it in more than 1 minute. I kept it simple: no bubbles, inconspicuous, and nothing that drives the players into the challenge of rushing anywhere.
