Could it be possible to make a LBP RPG like...

in the games Mario & Luigi RPGs? You know where the timing matters, you do some minigames to attack or to make an attack stronger. I think this could be done really well. You don't have to wait until you have finished all the story levels before publishing. hey :-) I know the monsters look lame -- that was just a tech demo! if you look me up and search through my favorites, there's a level with a monster showcase and you'll get a better idea of the quality of monsters i'm looking to make :-) also, the tech demo IS up for anyone to try out :-D it's called "lbp rpg demo v.095" I may be releasing v.100, which brings minor changes to the tech -- i've been working on optimizing the engine as much as possible to maximize the amount of content I can fit Right now, i've got 3 main attacks, 5 magic attacks, 4 restoritive attacks, and a haste spell so your turn comes quicker. I got a lot of suggestions about what people might like to see, such as a faster timer and AI comrades -- so i'm making fixes and taking all suggestions or criticisms that anyone might have and I'm trying to integrate that into my engine as well :-) | 2009-02-01 18:35:00 Author: immranderson Posts: 2 |
