Well now i do beleive Dark Cloud 3 is coming out in Japan March 2009 just a quick pre question about it. if i bought it from Ebay since its Japanese will there be a setting in the game to change it to English? thanks i know its far away but if i couldnt change to English i just wouldnt get it :eek: That question would be great if answered

For RPG's the chance of having both English/Japanese on the disc are 0%. It also depends on the developer. I have bought many Japanese games that were playable in FULL English (VF4, Resistance 2, Soul Caliber 4 etc) but RPG's (Disgaea 3, Oblivion etc) are never in English. In other words, you will either have to learn Japanese or wait for the North American release

Might be a bad example, but Chrono Trigger DS came out in Japan with optional English language on it. Not engrish, either.

what? Has Dark Cloud 3 even been seen by anyone. I seriously doubt a March release for a game with no information.

Might be a bad example, but Chrono Trigger DS came out in Japan with optional English language on it. Not engrish, either. I suspect that's because it's a port and not to mention all text. I suspect Dark Cloud 3 to have full voice acting too so the chances of translation on the Japanese disc are virtually 0%.

i saw a post on somewhere offical. and i did see a screen shot somewhere. im sure. unless it was a different game of the screen shot but it looked Dark Cloudish

Yeah... do you remember the cutscenes from the last one? Well they are going to be in this one too but way better ... anyway, they will all be in Japanese if you get the Japanese version of the game. But i do have good news. The Japanese version of the game will work on your US PS3. The Japanese and the US region codes were combined so Japanese and US bluray discs will work on both kinds of systems (US, and Japanese). How do I know this? I own a Japanese version of the PS3. Although there are only 3 things on it that remind me that it is japanese. The information bar (the orange information bar thingy in the upper right corner) is in Japanese (i have not found a way to change it yet). I can not play US normal DVDs (I can only play Bluray DVDs on my PS3). and I can not play any US PS2 or PS1 games on my PS3. IT is not all that bad... especially if I learn Japanese (fat chance >_>). So i can definitely confirm that the Japanese version will work on your system. Cheers!

What about posting your "official somewhere" link? Dark Could 3 is a rumor and presently unlickely to happen. Not only a rumor but the rumor is almost from last gen. It's "supposed to come" since BEFORE they announced White Knight Chronicles. Don't get your hopes up. I bet you anything this is not coming out anytime soon and 1000% not in March.
