Hey I haven't played this game in forever and I just decided that I wanted to play it... I have no clue why I stopped playing for a while it's an awesome game! Anyone else here like it/play it?

Well, I did get it, mainly because it was the only way to get the new Eyetoy in Australia when it was first released. I tried it a bit, but it was a bit annoying having to set up a card table and getting the cloth and stand thing all running smoothly. I'd have to disassemble everything when I was done. My PS3 is in the lounge room, and the coffee table has the PS3 itself on it. The AI was pretty punishing as well. If you made a minor mistake, like picking the wrong card or doing an illegal move, they would smash you to pieces and give you numerous virtual paper cuts. Well, that's how it felt. I think it was a great concept, but I never fully explored it or got an absolute grip on the playing system, I just gave up too early. I haven't seen the cards sold anywhere, but then again, I haven't been actively seeking them. :blush:

I played it steadily for quite a while, but quit a little bit before the 3rd set was released. It really is a great strategy card game for people interested in that sort of thing, like Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh. The AI wasn't that bright, but online ranked is what the game was really about anyway. I mostly quit because of the amount of money it takes to complete a full set of cards, and I really overplayed it and burnt out on it. I know how I am; I would of kept spending more and more money on it. I hope it keeps going though and they release several more sets, that way my set 1 and 2 cards will increase in value someday, lol.

haha yeah I think I stopped playing too because it took a while to set up lol (I'm lazy!) and yeah the AI was pretty punishing sometimes... anyway yeah I only have the Set 1 cards... haha that's how long I haven't played for... anyway I like the strategy of it!

I've got this, and just started playing it again. It's pretty good, but having to pay to use set 2 and 3 cards is silly. I guess it's because they're not hard to forge so they need to make their money somehow, but why they can't just give you a code with the cards to download the Set 2/3 addons, I don't know.

I don't know either... honestly I think it's kind of stupid to have to buy the set 2/3 as well but oh well... at least I got a $20 gift card for the PSN I haven't used yet!
