Are you getting a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One? POLL

Well guys and girls the new console generation is upon us and I was wondering which console are you going to choose and why? I personally am liking the Playstation 4. It is a more powerful system(uses DDR5 as memory as opposed to the Xbox's DDR3) and the remote play with the vita has a ton of potential. If a LBP3 was released, imagine being able to play it on your Vita and on the go! The system looks sexy, and developers say it much easier to develop for as opposed to the PS3.

I do see the Xbox One's advantages and that being the Kinect. The Kinect comes with the Xbox( which is why its 100 more). There are also way better launch titles and lets not forget the mysterious project spark that lets you pretty much sculpt a game with your hands. The Xbox also gets access to a lot of playstation favorites like Final Fantasy 15 or Kingdom Hearts 3. Its a tough choice.

After playing the 360 most (last 4 years) of the last generation, I got a PS4 this gen, along with my friends because we are gamers, and the PS4 and PS+ is just a better overall deal. I'm loving KZ:SF and Battlefield 4.2013-11-24 05:15:00

Easy choice for me, PS4. All my friends will be using PSN, the types of exclusives Sony gets are generally much more to my liking than what MS secures, the PS4 is cheaper, and I don't want to use Kinect. There's a few other positives as well but I don't want to overkill it. Will most likely pick one up within the next month, not long to go now.

I'm with PS4 all the way. I got mine as a surprise yesterday and have been playing a lot of Battlefield 4, though I wish I got Shadow Fall.2013-11-24 20:55:00

Well won't be getting next gen for awhile but going for PS4. One reason is because I know plenty of friends getting a PS4, another are I prefer their exclusives, and finally I'm a bit agitated that Microsoft has made it so you can't use Netflix or other services without Xbox Live while on PS4 the only reason you need PS+ is really for the multiplayer while other online apps like Netflix you can use even when you don't have PS+.2013-11-25 01:47:00

PS4, obviously. But not yet. So do I vote "Playstation 4" or "I am not getting the new consoles yet"?

I honestly don't see how either of the other consoles could hope to compete. Nintendo are still catching up to the previous generation, and the xbone is literally a cheap gaming PC running a heavily stripped-down version of Windows RT. edit: surprisingly, I'm loving the new ps camera already... the face recognition login and voice commands work really well.. hate to say it but maybe MS was onto something here... well to a certain extent.		2013-11-29 12:50:00

I've voted for the PS4 option even though I don't intend to get it just yet. Maybe sometime next year depending on the games that come out and whether I can finish my ever expanded backlog of PS3 games I want to play.

I got to say, the more I hear about the PS4 the more I want it, but no stores have them! Urrghh. The Cross Play function with the vita is really cool too. I might get an Xbox One later--If project spark is what its cracked up to be. But I do have a softspot for the Wii U, mainly because of " X"( the next rpg by Monolith) so I might get that after a PS4.

I just got my PS4 this week, but officially my first console was the Wii U.


Despite the fact that the console now has games like Nintendo Land, Rayman Legends, Pikmin 3, TLOZ: The Wind Waker HD, and Super Mario 3D World, all of which look like fun titles I'm interested in picking up, I just can't help but wait until 'X' releases before investing in the system. It really is the Wii U's system seller for me. @_@

X does look amazing. Be sure to preorder it though if you want one in case it has a limited run like the last one. I'm having a blast right now with Pikmin 3, it's really an amazing strategy game...I highly recommend it. The DLC packs also add some really cool maps.

Hehe, just kidding, PCs aren't consoles, they are far above them.

Anyway, on a serious note, if I get a console this generation, it won't be for many months(By which time another console might have come out), but if the lineup of consoles was the same and I had to choose one, it would be the PS4(Seems like a good console, and the competition either has no games, or is made of pure evil).

But, I'm not going to vote, since -- again -- another console might have come out(Microsoft might realise how much of an un-salvageable trainwreck the Xbone is and do something completely different), so I might not get either a PS4 or an Xbone.		2013-12-15 02:49:00

I will eventually be getting a PS4 because i've been looking forward to playing FFXV for what feels like forever.

I started my journey with Sora, Donald, and Goofy when I was like 14, and plan on finishing it. I may be grown now-but I have fond memories of Kingdom Hearts I, and II. I expect KHIII won't dissapoint.

If LBP3 turns out to be real or if MM makes a new IP that will succeed LBP it will be even more reason to get a PS4. Infamous:Second Son looks awesome too.

For now though I will continue playing LBP2, and waiting for Dark SoulsII to release for PS3.		2013-12-15 08:20:00
