Repeating signal faster than NOT gate?

Archive: 9 posts

Hello all. Is there a way to create a repetitive signal faster than a NOT gate wired into itself? Help would be greatly appreciated!2013-11-19 06:39:00

Aw, that's too bad. I really needed something faster :/.2013-11-20 02:01:00

For what purpose do you need a >15Hz signal?
In the special case of an emitter, you can wire the inverted 15Hz signal into an identical emitter resulting in an effective emission rate of 30 Hz...

I wish they had a logic bit that would just send a repeater signal at a specified number of hertz.2013-11-25 19:23:00

I second that thought.

Hi Felyne.
Hmmm.... I have an idea off the top of my head....But I have no idea if it would work as haven't tried it.

What if instead of trying to gdet one signal to repeat faster, you had two signals with a slight ofset (maybe via a % battery or setting the sync rate or t.
Just throwing out ideas my friend, I might take a crack at trying out some ideas on it later... cant promise any success, but i'll experiment.

The idea in itself is good, but because the calculations of the LBP engine are updating 30 times per second at most, Introducing logic that changes states more than 30 times a second (>15Hz) would introduce variable degrees of signal aliasing (http://www.ni.com/cms/images/devzone/tut/figure1_20091202123113.JPG).
