I think that this will be a good exercise for all aspiring creators! Pretty much the challenge is we can only use 5 materials, chosen at random! We could all choose on the 5 collectively! We can only choose use our on props, NO story or premade props we can use decorations and collected objects, but no premade story props. Doing this pushes our creativity, forcing us to improvise, we could use reference material. The materials are provided in the level so make sure you download the track. It can be a arena or race track, checkpoint race. The sole purpose of this challenge is to push through our limitations! This is what I do when I'm drawing! Let me know what you guys think of this idea! So I guess Ill have the challenge go for about a week or however long. http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/bobbybrute/photo1_zps641680d0.jpg RULES • Make sure Level name looks like this Ex.(CC#1- Whatever the track name is) • Create an original unpublished level based on the % materials provided( see pictire above) • The should have custom created props, you can use accessories such as bits and bobs and strings • No using pre-made story props • Be sure to post LBP.me links to your levels in this thread preferably or your levels thread • You can submit how many you would like • Remember to have funvand respect other creators I thought I do something different to get us all involved within the karting community. Again let me know what you guys think! Ill upload my status of the challenge, I'll be doing this regardless!

Hi Sirr. This is quite a cool and interedsting idea. I'd love to take a crack at it. Thats what we need buddy, more competitions and challenges in karting. I'd like to suggest entries have a particular level name, (like the eye cand competion idea). So level names contain SIRRFive in its title or something. Just an idea. Hmm... I'd like to take a crack at this. I find it sad that so few create any more in karting, so well done for encouraging people to create.

Seriously thanks!! I just took a chance and just posted it, I was aware of the other challenges that where thrown on psn, by Onepapa earlier this year! I'd Like to see what your creation is gonna look like! I thinking about purchasing a Psn points card or Ps Plus (3 months) as some sort of incentive for whoever has the best maybe that will get more participants!

Well... You gave me the kick in the pants to get making on karting again. Hopefully what im planning will be unique and not really seen on karting before. I have a cool idea on lbp2, but decided to turn it into a 3d karting level first. I will send a picture here when i have finishe the very first part. The clue is, it wont be a race. :-)

sweet i just made a youtube video on this platforming race level i have in mind!! Delusion!! Platforming concept!! I'm also doing my best get this community up and running, well the karting portion of this place! there are almost to none freezes for me. to say the least! At this point I feel like people should work with what we got in this game! luos_83 showcased it to all of us with his amazing had, I have no idea whether he's continuing his project with his hands! But the way look at this game is rather than complain about what is wrong with the game work with what you got. There is so much to be unearthed in this game we just have to find it lol( cheezy i know )

I think your right. Both LBP2 and LBPKarting have thier own unique look and feel. Karting lends itself more to 3d, lbp2-2d. I mean...people complain a lot about stuff in karting...but there are work arounds. Glass- forcefield stickered or combined with a window shaped material. There is so much in the game that may never get exploredd and its up to people to try. Like...th idea i plan wont be a cutesy racer... more something adventurey with a shooting element in it. I mean...YES, you can do different weapon pickups (not just aimed funny weapons. I'll look forward to trying Delusion my friend 47307
