Hooray, it's time for a new level! I wanted to make a level that echoes the design principles of LBP1, namely, I wanted to make a more open and intricate level that still retained linearity. Unlike my other levels which are fairly constrained, this has a lot more open space. This time around, I also focused more on atmosphere and style rather than detail (and I'm fairly happy with the result). While the focus was on layout, there are some unique obstacles including but not limited to jump-platforms, which seem to **** off about 40% of players. While I don't consider it to be that hard of a level, I will attempt to address those when I'm not drowning in tedious assignments / GTA stupidity. Also, no voice acting this time.

actio1_618 provided several custom made stickers which are graciously given away without consent. Giant_Robot77 also made the funky music. squid2723 gave constant feedback.

Hopefully people will like this a bit more than the barrage of seasonal levels. This level isn't perfect, but I think it offers a bit more than the Spooky Easter Farm of Christmas levels that seem to be so popular around here these days. This level was supposed to be much longer, but given how long it already is I'll just use the residual ideas elsewhere.

Have fun, and play either single player or with two people. Several obstacles are very antisocial.

Yay, I already played this. Boo, I didn't finish. No fault of yours of course. I blame my sucky play skills. I have not had a chance to revisit this, but I certainly will. I like your levels like this, the ones that lean more towards a serious level. KWIM? From what I got to see of this, I was thoroughly enjoying this. I love the design elements and man, each section is a brand new type of gameplay. Awesome! Seriously, you have some amazing ideas in here. Good work.2013-11-18 15:52:00

I look forward to every new level this guy is kind enough to put out for the lbp community to enjoy. He must have access to those areas of the brain which remain inert & unused to the rest of us throughout the entirety of our lives because his creative output always astounds. The level certainly has that distinct bonner feel to it, from the visuals and the gameplay to the general mood. The visuals are worthy of the name; bleak, desolate and dead but not dull. The gameplay itself is fresh and delicious except for the repeated grab-the-sponge-and-bounce-off-the-wall motif, but it's fun too, so I don't mind. Difficulty-wise I didn't find it particularly hard, but that's not a bad thing. It flowed well.

All in all, go play it.

Regarding the jump-platforms:

I added the option to make them easier at the beginning: you just need to sticker the billboard named Mother. It makes the otherwise tricky jump-platforms much easier. However! This comes at the cost of 2,000 points.
