Merge Glitch (Alternate Method)
Archive: 3 posts
I'm sure quite a few of you are familiar with the merge glitch in one form or another. The one I'm about to show you is one of the less common ones (or so I think). The steps are as follows: 1. Create a square of cardboard and place a microchip. a. On this microchip, place a destroyer set to destroy with the option "fall apart" and a grab switch (can be substituted) hooked up to it. 2. Place another square of cardboard and the two objects to be merged. 3. Make sure to glue your original cardboard to the object. Gluing them in any other way (such as advanced glue) Will not work! 4. Grab the tool (or activate the input in some other way) 5. What you should have now is a cardboard square that cannot be moved, but can be duplicated with L3. 6. Multi-select the square and one of the desired objects. (Hold R2 and press X on each of the objects). a. What should happen is the desired object being moved, and being able to phase through anything, level boundaries, fluffy the cat, etc. 7. Move the object into the other object. Aaand... if you followed the steps correctly you should be done. I will upload pictures when I have access to LBP. | 2013-11-18 06:38:00 Author: Felyne ![]() Posts: 25 |
Hmm, I have not heard of this method yet. I'll give it a try. Thanks! | 2013-11-18 12:35:00 Author: biorogue ![]() Posts: 8424 |
