Hello everyone! Please play my new level Vortex:. [2] to explore destruction and use foreign contraptions to find your way out of this unstable UFO. As SWAT and other dangers around threaten sackthing, many mysteries exist in what used to be something amazing. The origins of the ship remain unknown, and what more there will be to discover lie ahead..

I'm writing as I play.

I can see compared to your previous levels your design has gotten better, visually and the selection of materials you use. Theres a bounce pad inactive, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to switch it on. But I do see a purple arrow, how do I get there. I've just restarted the level. I'm guessing you just swing because I seem to have passed the section. I also like the way the background is no longer just a big sticker of a city. The bullets from the guns should destroy once they hit a wall, they killed me as I jumped down the level link hole.

I like the little puzzle part between Jaff and the Solar Panel to open the door. I don't see much wrong with this level besides the odd land on a little area that stops you dying (but we've all got levels like that).

To bad it's only gotten 3 plays, it really does deserve more.

Sorry there isn't much feedback, I didn't really have anything bad to say, the level is near mostly good.

As I said in my ingame review, I thought this was a very cool level! It had bags of atmosphere with lots of special effects and drama. I liked the story-driven, puzzley gameplay and you had some imaginative obstacles in there. There were one or two places where it wasn't immediately obvious where to go next but nothing impossible to work out with a bit of observation. I had a blast playing and I really want to know what happens next.

I did find the dialogue with Jaff where you keep getting his name wrong on purpose a bit random but perhaps that's because I haven't played the earlier episodes.

Anyway, this most certainly deserves more than 6 plays! Great job!

Man, I was enjoying the heck out of this for all the reasons that Lass mentioned. Like CC above, I got stuck in one spot and just gave up. Not without trying for a good 20 minutes though. It was in a room where there is a grab thing on the right. You grab it, it slowly comes down and triggers a platform on the left to rise up to an electric thing. I'd jump on it to raise up, but couldn't make the jump to the ledge on the right (if that was what I was suppose to do) or grab that other grab thing above (if that was what I was suppose to do). Ok, I went back in and tried again. Once I got the idea of the puzzle style I was able to get through the rest of it. I like it!

There were definitely some areas the weren't obvious. The first time I played the elaborate look of the room actually steered me in the wrong direction. I thought I was supposed to be getting to the top of the room, not swinging on the bottom thingy.

Edit... Ok, I saw bio's comment, so I thought I'd go back in and see where he got stuck. There is definitely some flakiness here. This time I swung back and forth in the first room and broke the rocks. The grab swingy thing at the top was glowing blue, but I couldn't grab it. Had to restart. Then, swinging back and forth didn't break the rocks for at least 20 times, which was similar to the first time I played and gave up.

Not sure what's going on, but it doesn't seem to work consistently.

Bio - the room you are,referring to.... You grab on the right, jump on the platform on the left before it rises. Then, as it goes up you jump to the right to grab the swingy thing, then swing onto the platform to the right.

@biorogue. Yes. You are to grab the hanging piece (that says to) and swing across. I understand that you had a problem knowing where to go, but I made the theme this way to be more of an observation to escape. I will try to improve, and thank you for the play and feedback!2013-11-14 23:36:00

@ccubbage. In the first obstacle, you are to swing the top lantern which is on fire. You are to swing the lantern to smash against the tree debris (as the arrow was supposed to be demonstrating), igniting it. I am sorry this wasn't obvious, but I was creating a puzzle-platformer style challenge. I will try to improve, and thank you for playing and reviewing my level!2013-11-14 23:42:00

oh dangit! I meant to go back in here last night and forgot. Thanks for the clue. I felt pretty sure I was suppose to grab the hanging one but just couldn't get my timing right for some odd reason. I'll definitely be returning. I really enjoy this type of level especially when it's done well as this one is.2013-11-15 15:38:00

Ok gonna review as I play.
Wow this is so visually stunning, I love the grabbing and ramming into the enviorment I have not really seen much of that so its unique! The switches in each lil area are so cool. Great Ideas. Some tough parts for sure but not impossibly tough. I really love how much the enviorment changes! Great sound effects. wow some crazy lil swat guys ! LOVE it! The dialogue with Jaff is cute! Creative. Very dark in the spot where I go into the water but I did not give up and finally found the path lol. Oh a flashlight ...needed this a sec ago haha. What a cool idea. aw and the solar panel glows when i find it. I cant figure out how you emitted the light from your sackbot thats really cool!.
Woo let there be light haha time to go see what was in that darkness. Sounds like 28 days later music for a sec..hope its zombies...finish line grrr...did not want it to end.
This level was amazing, a few parts were tough due to not knowing what to do, but a little investigation and its figured out. Loved it wish it was longer. maybe another part
