Paint Switch problem
Archive: 5 posts
Not sure if this is a bug or not but I was working on my level and when I went to test it I found one of the monsters I made (which was working perfectly fine before) couldn't die even after the brain popped. I had the brain connected to a paint switch and set the switch to one shot but it still does nothing. Another thing is that the bar completely refills when it reaches 0. Does anyone know what the hell happened? | 2009-01-30 08:14:00 Author: 808 Posts: 6 |
Firstly the if the paint switch it refiling then it is no longer set to one shot. A "one shot" paint switch will never refill. As for the lack of dying are you sure the brain is attached to the monster? It may have come undone while you were working on it. The brain needs to be glued/attached to the monster in order for it to dissolve it upon death. These may seem like obvious solutions, but they are all I can think of at the moment. Double check everything and report back if you are still having trouble | 2009-01-30 09:05:00 Author: Trader Sam Posts: 92 |
another problem (if a bit obvious) is the fact that it wont die if theres more than one brain on it, and you only pop one. I know your thinking "Jeese I'm not that stupid" but it always pays to check | 2009-01-30 14:27:00 Author: Mrgenji Posts: 803 |
I had that happen to one of my turrets in my survival challenge, the problem is that you removed or added an object to/from the enemy. You need to replace the brains+Swiches. | 2009-01-30 17:22:00 Author: DRT99 Posts: 431 |

I replaced both the switch and the brain but still does the same thing. I should probably add that the monster is attached to a piston and the only thing I recall doing before the problem occurred is gluing stuff to walls. Don't know if that helps with anything. | 2009-01-30 22:27:00 Author: 808 Posts: 6 |
