So I'm going to try making something like this again. There's a Zombie Outbreak, but I think we can handle more than one Forum Game. DON'T YOU? So, first one must build a nation. Give your empire a name, and a fun little backstory if you want. Be sure to claim a color to designate you. After I get all the players, I will draw a map of the world and assign everyone territories for their empire. For now, the rules are basically like the board game Risk. If you don't know how to play, read up here: http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/risk.pdf I will assign you all countries based off random.org, and you will all have a set number of armies for you to assign to whichever countries you like. You can declare war on any territory adjacent to one of yours, being able to put as many troops as you want to attack (1 must stay on your territory because each territory must have at least 1 person on it). the defender will send the same number of troops (this also means you cannot send more than they have). You and the person you're attacking will send a pm to the gamemaster (me) about your attacks a ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS duel, one entry per line. Each entry stands for one soldier you are putting to battle. If you WIN a line, your opponent loses a soldier; if you TIE, neither side loses a soldier. You can replenish troops at the start of each turn. This is dependent upon your highest chain of adjacent territories. For instance, if five territories are touching each other, you get five soldiers. However it is only the highest chain, meaning if you have a chain of five and a chain of four, you only get four troops. An order of turns will proceed, where each player can attack an enemy nation and moving troops from a nation to an adjacent nation as much as they want, or if there is nothing they want to do, they can simply spend their turn "Training" a soldier, adding one soldier to their troop count. This order of turns is determined at the start of the game, and each player has a maximum of two days to complete their turn. People can form alliances behind the scenes if they so choose, but these are not beholden to any in game laws (read: backstabbing is legal). ... So, did I explain well enough? Anyone interested? I'd say at least five players for this CRAZY game. I won't be playing as I'm the game master, but after this is done (if it is completed) and someone else wants to hold a new one, possibly with adding more rules, then I will gladly play that one. What's the setting? Medieval, modern, sci-fi... Fantasy? Um... Silly, I guess? Like, everyone needs to come up with their own nation and it could be anything. Like, if I was going to do it, I'd make "The Peanut Empire" and come up with a backstory befitting my persona. You can roleplay a bit like in the mafia game, but you can come up with whatever nation you want. Just for fun and role playing. RPG! Also, you need a color so I know what to fill in your countries.

Nation Name: Holy Britannian Empire. Color: Purple. Backstory: In 2010 a.t.b., after the conquest of Area 10 by Britannia (in some versions the Indochinese Peninsula), Japan decided to align with the policies of the Chinese Federation and European Union and apply economic pressure upon Britannia, an event which came to be referred to as the Oriental Incident; all three factions blockaded Britannian ports in an attempt to force negotiations. The plan backfired, though, as Britannia instead invaded Japan on August 10th in the Second Pacific War. Lasting only a month, Britannia conquered Japan thanks to the large-scale implementation of fourth-generation Knightmares as weapons of war, whose combination of mobility and firepower gave them a complete advantage over the more standard main battle tanks of Japan. The conquered island nation was renamed Area 11, and its citizens "Elevens." Britannia accomplished this feat without retaliation from the EU and the Chinese Federation thanks to clever political manipulation: Britannia divided the sakuradite production of Japan into thirds and evenly distributed it among the three superpowers. More sakuradite was produced overall as the Japanese no longer had any say in the matter, such as the exploitation of sakuradite deposits under Mt. Fuji which caused the sacred mountain to be defaced in pursuit of the mineral. Britannia wisely gave the other two superpowers equal shares in the stockpiles of sakuradite, essentially bribing them out of war or even allying with each other. BUT THEN HUGE EVERYTHING AND THE GAME RESTARTS!

That she did. Anyway, still need amoney, though I'm hoping for some more. Will start drawing drawing up the map this weekend (I want to decide how big it is by the number of players, let's say each player gets 7 territories), so I'll give you guys a bit longer to wise up and join. Also thinking of joining myself as a sort of neutral power. I can't invade but would have large armies (Peanut armies) to defend myself. And I would be guarding specific resources that would greatly benefit whoever controls them... any thoughts on this, or should the first game be more easy to play?

Any chance you could switch to a less annoying color, Ryan? Anyway, if amoney comes back and chooses his nation and color, we'll have enough. But I'll give you guys two more days because I want more players. Also, activity is a must. If you give up, I will confiscate your armies into my Evil Empire of Peanuts, unable to invade but can merely defend. And if you will be away for any length of time and it's your turn... You can set up "defense mode" until you get back where you can assign someone not in the game to simply defend your nation (read: sending me a certain number of Rock Paper Scissors) or I can get one of the players who is not the aggressor to defend for you. Not exactly the best move for people who want to conquer the world, but still. Also, should we have people only be able to do one move per turn, because otherwise it might take a while what with me updating the map. Then again, we could all take turns updating the map once it starts, if we all sign an agreement of totally not cheating. If we do that, though, I could probably join... No, wait, I need to mediate Rock Paper Scissors... hm :/

Quality Backstory Follows The year was 2033. It was a time of trial and corruption. The United Nations of the World - the UNW - had expanded to include all governments in a pact that promised peace. The UNW had nefarious purposes, however, and killed off all governmental leaders in order to take over. The UNW began a surveillance program that monitored every person, analyzed every action taken by mankind. And not a single person cared. They had been told that it was for their good, that they this was necessary for their prolonged, healthy survival. So they sat idly as their cameras watched them, their microphones listened to them, and their internet was censored to contain naught but propaganda. But there was one man who cared. He had no computer, no camera, no microphone. He avoided public locations which did have these, despising the control the UNW had seized over his life. He wanted not for them to dictate his actions, but for his decisions to be his own. His name was Ryan86me. And so he sat one day, thinking to himself - the people around him so ignorant, so corruptible. And then a thought came to his head. If he could manipulate these people, he could rule the world. And so, he decided, he would make his own country. After long and careful consideration as to what to name it, he decided - Teh Anger Country of Le Derp. Yes, it was perfect. So he grew up some land off the east coast of what used to be North America using some land pills. He kept his country going for years, as the UNW diminished and other small countries rose. It was at this time that Ryan86me knew... Teh Anger Country of Le Derp could rule the world.
