Player Tags(Individial Player Signals)

I know we have player sensors but their abilities are quite limited as their activation method is all that is not picky...This idea popped up in my head after suffering from creator's block. Let's say you wanted player one to have a ability that isn't usable for any other players or vice versa. Logic cannot follow a specific sackboy as it'll get mixed up with the other players and could cause a mess should the host have buddies.(This may be a reason why some levels are limited to single player only.) It's true this could be solved by the use of sackbots, however there in lies the problem. Wouldn't it be better for players to emit/have a exclusive signal similiar to a tag depending on their number? That way certain things can only happen should a specified player fulfill that role. This will eliminate the use of the previously mentioned cures and make certain gameplay methods much easier/possible. What do you think?2013-10-30 09:29:00

This seems like a no-brainer and hopefully is tweaked for Hub. While I agree this could be done with sackbots, sackbots eat up a lot of thermo you could be using for other things.2013-11-01 18:57:00
