Pretty good first level you made here. I liked climbing up the thing. following trails of bubbles wherever they may go while dodging rolling fire barrells of doom. The overall concept is good, but it could have been improved some. There really weren't a lot of sound effects going on, at least not that I noticed. The music was there but otherwise there wasn't much to catch attention in terms of audio. Visually, it could probably be cleaned up some. Bubbles seemed randomly set out, so something like lining them up instead of pilling at random in areas could help giving a more orderly look. The same goes for some objects or effects. The visible dissolve toward the end could have been stickered or othrwise hidden, just to help keep with the theme and such. Finally, it would be nice to see D.K defeated rather than just have him disappear when the player pulls the platform, just as a nice bit of closure.
