Some puppet I made and might make more

Here is a puppet I made in LBPV http://if.api.vita.lbp.me/img/ft/d8fadf6c722e159f3224740253c58195fd23581d.jpg It's mouth moves up and down and can be synced and such, etc etc. Also, I am thinking of adding strings to the arms and such and make it move and such as a real puppet, what do you think? is the work worth the effect? Would you be intrigued to play a full scale RPG if this was the main character? Dungeon crawler, maybe taking influence from Zelda link to the past, FF3, and chrono trigger. Not sure which one of my RPG roots will take hold and have more influence. Any thoughts on which world layout, you prefer over the other. As well as battle system? I'll try to share some other characters I have made in the future >D I am not a very good or proficient character creator in LBP as many others, but I try | 2013-10-20 02:13:00 Author: L-I-M-I Posts: 611 |
I love the colors and design on this puppet and I think adding the strings on would be a great addition, especially if you go for the RPG! On that matter, I really would not be bothered by any of the layouts for world and battle system from any of thge great games you mentioned. There is, however, something I desire: Great story with in-depth characters! A great RPG requires that and I've played several RPG's that had a lackluster story to their level which ultimately ruined the fell of the characters and all. Anyways, good luck on all your decisions to come limi! | 2013-10-20 06:42:00 Author: Bryan_Zuckerberg Posts: 874 |
If i go for an rpg u know it will be a epic level that would probably take 12 to 25 hrs to beat, but would definetly be a memorizer heavy achievement. Something u could definetly turn on and off anytime | 2013-10-20 16:38:00 Author: L-I-M-I Posts: 611 |
that puppet looks awesome, a bit creepy, but awesome still! As an RPG though? I can't wrap my head around how that would be done. This would be awesome in the old school style of Puppet Theater. You know, you see the strings and the puppets bounce up and down and stuff, curtain closes in between scenes and what not. http://attractions.uptake.com/blog/files/2009/01/3225726000_8411f24733.jpg I had dreams of making a level like this myself, but lack the talent, the time, and the courage to pull it off. RPG? Man, I just can't see how. Would it be like a side-scroller or something? Surely not top-down unless the characters would be part of cut-scenes. I guess that could work. @L-I-M-I: Great job on this @biorogue: I have the same idea since a year and didn't do it for the same reason Ha ha ha, maybe we should co-operate one day | 2013-10-20 18:37:00 Author: avundcv Posts: 2526 |
