In case you've never played Metal Gear Solid. It is about Solid Snake, hero of Outer Heaven and Zanzibar land going on a mission to stop his former unit Foxhound from launching a nuclear strike. Looks cool! But lvls based in videogames cant get a team pick. Just to say. Its in my queued I don't know about that. You've got: "ibb & obb" by xSLEVENx which is a direct emulation of a commercial game and it was team picked. "Minesweeper" by hotalbi based on the Windows game. "LBP PAC-MAN [JPN]" by gurichan based on, er, Pac Man. "Plants vs Zombots" by Foggles is Plants vs Zombies in LBP form. And from LBP1 there is "Unhearted: Drake's Misfortune" by GruntosUK. I stopped looking after that last one.

I stopped looking after that last one. At some point they made the announcement that they wouldn't team pick copyrighted material. Most of the levels above were picked before the announcement. I think there were a few cases where either a) they didn't know it was copyrighted, or b) copyrights had run out, so it didn't matter. More recently, "Moon Patrol" was team picked and a number of people complained in the comments section that it was copyrighted material (although I love that game, so I was glad it was picked ). Anyway, that's the official word. Since this level uses material that is much more high profile, there's not much chance of it getting picked. BTW.... "Mutant Mudds" is an example of a set of levels they WANTED to pick, but didn't because of the copyrights.

If a developer gives permission for the level to be featured it can be picked. That was the case with xSLEVENx who asked Sparpweed if they'd be okay with it being picked. It's really up to the dev if they are okay with it.
