Welcome everyone to the latest Episode of the Spotlight, full of levels for you to sink your sacky socks into! Thank you to all of the creators who keep on producing levels of such great quality, despite the powerful allure of "other games"! We are in your debt!

For anyone who has not already heard the news on Twitter we are proud to announce that three more recent members of the Spotlight Crew have been awarded Crowns. So congratulations to fireblitz95, WESFUN and L-I-M-I on their shiny new headgear and a big thank you to StevenI for his continuing support! We owe all three of them so much for all their hard work over the last year and Deadmn too, who would have been given a Crown as well, if he had not gone and won himself one in the meantime

http://ia.lbp.me/img/bl/1fa1924b6c72f9e6499921ca9edff5241b045d0b.pngTear Away At Me!! [TearawayCompetitionUS]LoVeRiCe[1-PLAYER] A relentless wave of paper monsters are determine to Tear Away At your precious castle of mails. In that case, deliver them a message and show them that you're not going down without a fight. Careful, don't get a paper cut now. Save and Continue your game progress at another time, spend countless hours playing this very addictive and fun game. Hundreds of Upgrades and Special Abilities, including Fellow Allies who will help you during this mail run. This is my entry for the Tearaway Competition.
There are so many fantasic Tearaway entries for the Tearaway/LBP contest and this level is definitely a big candidate for the winning prize.I spent a good chunk of time trying to survive hoards of tearaway-esque enemies and upgrading my Iota player and his secretary co-fighter. There was soo much more that I could do, thanks to the amazing content packed into this well crafted survival, and the built in save feature is a big helper for when you want to come back and continue fighting and upgrading your stats to reach the highest wave count. I want sees more of these well-crafted levels because it definitely supports the statement "LBP isn't a platform game, its' a platform FOR games" and it is no doubt loverice put a lot of time and effort into this entry because it is certainly has massive potential. They say the pen is mightier than the sword and this level certainly proves that a skilfully delivered letter can be fatal! Besieged by hordes of enemies, your only chance is to fend then off with a hail of envelopes. As Iota you scurry up and down the ramparts tossing letter after letter at the oncoming enemies (that’s a lot of lost post!), helped out by a trusty sidekick whose aim is fortunately better than yours. When things get too intense you can add the nuclear option of an avenging finger or a blast of shielding breath to your arsenal. There’s a ton of different upgrades to buy, a cool menu with a message feature and, most impressive of all, the ability to save your progress. This plays straight to any OCD tendencies you may have as it only encourages you to come back again and again to see how many waves you can beat. This is a beautifully put together game, with a lot of depth and replay value. It’s one of those games which gives you more, the more you put into it. It looks great - the Tearaway characters and enemies are brilliantly realised - and is genuinely absorbing to play. You won’t want to miss this very different take on the Tearaway theme.Ooooo finally a wall defense game that doesn't just revolve around staying up all night to stop hordes of zombies from infiltrating your base. I love how finally someone took a game concept that is so addicting and turned it into a cute version full of Tearaway enlightenment. Take an envelope, multiply it by 3, put it in the hands of Iota and let the paper cutting begin, wave after wave. Also, don't worry about not having enough time in one session to fend off the hordes of mashed wood pulp enemies, Loverice has develop a spot-on save system or you could be like me and just sit there for about 90 minutes, tossing out envelopes faster then paperboy can at all those run away lawn mowers. Kudos to you Loverice, this level was amazing to say the least.

http://i3.lbp.me/img/bl/6a3a56aa33a29ea3dcf9598b3d3c31f8633ec5c9.pngFreque nt FreightPorkyfernA land full of transportation. Why don't you catch a train to save your time? Isn't it better than walking? Come on! Here is a "Free Ticket" for to land of "Frequent Freight".------[ Multiplayer Allowed ]
All aboard! Ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaa!Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay...erm..sorry. Every time I play this level, Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train pops into my head!I like that this level looks like it is straight out of a Wile E. Coyote cartoon. Your primary objective here is to get to the other side of the level using these cool little trains as your main mode of transportation. But that's not all, oh no, not by a long shot. You'll be heavily tested in your grappling abilities too. This level a very fun play and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Warning: The trains in this level were not inspected for security and can not be guaranteed to be safe. The conductors driving the train have not gotten their training and are influenced by crazy driving. No, they are not slightly off their usual selves, they get their love for danger and fun because they are probably related to Otis. There is that and their use for game play makes these trains so much fun compared to real life trains. Some parts came to me as unexpected which amused me and kept me entertained throughout the challenging adventure. There are some really neat designing sections with characters and such and I definitely want to play this again sometime. All aboard ahh bio said it first, well chooga chooga choo this level is not a snooze. Beware the cacti with your equipped grappling hook while getting a free ride on the Crazy Train ahh once again bio beat me to a good pun, can't get a good pun in with him around Well back to the level review, the overall design and look of the level definetly sets the mood of the wild west where the smoke stacked from the flume and the desert wilderness rules the land. So go on grap your hook and don't think of playing the conductor cause all you get is a free ride and an awesome trip. Kudos to you Porkyfern for once again making a beautifully crafted level

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/966cde70a09b62f9814b09e961b460a3bf79c018.pngNether world - Lost SoulsShaggy40000Enter the Netherworld and fight the most evil creatures, the cursed land contains! Choose between two classes. // credits // battle music by II_h4rry_OO, Buddydestruction & CuriousSack; ambient music by airipsusknight // singleplayer only! //
Wow. I was not expecting this. Um, wow. I'm still at a loss for words here. I fell into the level and was like, "Wut?" I controlled a knight and was given the option to battle with sword or staff and I chose the sword route. Off I went, walking in this desolate region, constantly looking over my shoulder when suddenly, there's my first enemy! I readied my sword and shield and have to say I dispensed of my foe quite quickly. I was feeling good...until I met something more formidable, more gruesome, more hideous than I'd seen before, but not more hideous than Miley Cyrus on the VMA's, my eyes! I won't spoil it for you, but suffice it to say, you have some tough battles ahead my friends.Just play it. For the love of sack just play it. You don't even need to read the description or look at the pictures. Though those will automatically will make you want to queue up this level as you as you can, the logo will help you make up your mind in less than 2 seconds. The atmosphere was really neat to indulge in and just when I thought "ok, this must be the end" it just got more bigger and epic. This happened to me 3 or 4 times and it just got way too intense and reminds me of when I used to play skyrim (I still do from time to time). This creator outdoes one gameplay section every single time one after another and I am really pleased how this turned out. The fighting mechanics are really neat and the fights are fair, but there is just so much I can't say (for the sake of spoilers) so go experience this now!

http://i8.lbp.me/img/bl/688d1091e87034fc109b24cfb05752eaf06a9e7b.pngPaint' Mansionalain251Welcome to my "Paint' Mansion", [1-4 players platformer]. Use the great Paintinator to make your way trough this strange colourful mansion. Move objects, press buttons or even stop time! ---- Special thanks : xTrilexx for making me this great music ; Strawberryheat for some cool stuff ; All my friend who gave me their picture, they fit so well on my level's walls (and sorry to the others friends I couldn't place, or I didn't ask, walls are full...)
Well shut my mouth! Is that the? Could it be the? It is, it is, it's the paintinator! Why, I haven't used that thing since the great zombie outbreak of 2012. It was awesome to be able to use this gadget again and it NOT be a pirate level, a metal gear solid level or worse, a zombie level. Kudos to Alain for that. Now the gameplay here is really fun and I do mean a blast. You will use the paint gun in many different ways and in some of the cases, you better be pretty dang quick and nimble, lest you fall into a spiky pit of doom. Play, paint it, love itThere is just so much you say about color. It just symbolizes so much in us humans and the world. It's a visual treat and has a major impact with it's messages and meaning to life. Color is used for painting, and this painted mansions just illumines which so much win. Speaking of paint, the paintinator plays well as a game play element and reminds of the LBP1 days when everyone got their hands on this gadget for the first time. The decorations are really neat and the creator very well deserves this spotlight for making a platformer filled with a splash color fun.

http://i4.lbp.me/img/bl/0349fe882d67e9ef11d146882bedc4771b6c5695.pngR.E.T. R.O.FabFio71it's new, it's fresh, it's R.E.T.R.O. You have to keep the ball on the field and try to hit the destroyer. You have 5 attempts. There are 10 level. 1-4 players. Thanks at my wife (voice^^) @Karrades & @Hanfi1311 Music by @Festerd_Jester, @Bigsurf77, @OphidianCube, @Buddydestruction. Have fun and beat the highscore. For real arcade-feeling, play it loud --update with life indicator--
Here's another one where you just go, "What?" The very first thing I noticed about this, wasn't the nifty menu, wasn't the "bricks" style gameplay or even the sleek design of the playing surface. It was those columns in the background. They reminded me so much of the background "towers" on the PS2. Did you know this, the more games you played on the PS2, the more towers would be in the splashscreen? And, the longer you played that game, the taller the towers would be. Cool huh? Anyway, back to this arcade smasher here. It is similar to breakout or bricks in that you are ricocheting a ball back into those blocks, but the similarity ends there. You can have up to 4 players and have 5 tries to make it through all 10 levels and at key moments of the game you are greeted with the lovely voice of FabFio71's wife. An excellent arcade style game that you simply must play.
Oh, this was a lot of fun! It’s beautifully presented: slick and polished with a real minimalist charm. The gameplay has the same pared down beauty, as you attempt to send a ricocheting ball spinning into blocks to clear them and gain points. A great marriage of style and substance. You will need good reflexes to pass all 10 stages but you have the gorgeous voice of FabFio’s wife to encourage you on and 5 lives to play with. That ball does have an annoying habit of sneaking past my defences but I had a blast trying to get through this. A great recreation of an arcade game – simple, elegant and addictive! What!!! that's Fabfio's wife who does that voice, well I guess we learned 2 things here today. 1.) Fabfio's wife has a robotic like sexy voice and bio does his reviews before me. Arkenoid is one of those games I can remember exactly where I was and when I first played it, so it will always hold a stong place in my large gamer heart. Fabfio I love how you van take a masterpiece of a game and just amp it up 10 fold and add multiplayer to the mix. Gosh I love this level so much and wish it was on vita so I may download it. Fabfio this was enjoyable for me to the greatest extent, man this was great. such an easy heart. Once again Fabfio, you have given us such great work.

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/f86e43c59b6e6246400cfd6d6b0f9b76311a355c.pngToby [1p Only] By iBooyakaShaaiBooyakaShaaToby the wall jumping robot ! ----- [Credits] Music : Nk827, Mm, Velvet--Audio / Font used : Comphermc / Dust particles : Roflcopter . / Please always read instructions
If you have not had the pleasure of visiting a iBooyakaShaa level before then prepare your jaw for major droppage. Seriously, wrap a rubber band around it or something. When you first enter this level the title screen alone will almost be enough to unhinge your lower mandible but once you actually enter the level itself, Whoa!? I..I..I could hardly move. I was staring at my surroundings in disbelief. How could this be possible? I know that I don't think I have ever seen this level of detail and craftsmanship in a LBP level before. Every nook and cranny is filled and then if you look closely at some of these mechanisms, the detail is even greater! I'm running out of room so I will tell you that this level is about you controlling a little robot ball and your objective is to escape this facility, although I don't know why'd you want to as I could wander around it for days just ogling the architecture. PLAY THIS LEVEL.Oh wow (blast, more royalties owed to bio ), iBooyakaShaa is a master of building stunning looking facilities. The one on display in this level is just amazing in its detail and complexity. In fact I got lost *cough* wanted to explore off the beaten track, there were so many tempting side alleys. This facility with its shadowy, ominous atmosphere is the playground of a small and surprisingly cute robot ball called Toby (how do you make a sphere cute, lol?). You control him on his trip through the murky bowels of the facility, weaving and wall jumping your way through a maze of tunnels and running the gauntlet of a series of hazards until you reach daylight once again. So forget the ticking clock and just soak up the superb atmosphere, lighting and architecture on your journey. Great stuff.I think I found the perfect creator for creating facility environments that just blow your mind, IBooya is at the top of the list when it comes to detailed environments and this time the stunning environment is wrapped around a an electrifying little rolly poly called T.O.B.Y. Besides wall jumping and twisting up and around tight corners he'll or it will have you swimming as well. T.O.B.Y has it all and delivers thru I believe is 3 spectacularly stunning levels that will make you gasp for air as it takes your breath away. Kudos to you Ibooya, you capture the atmosphere like no other.

http://i4.api.vita.lbp.me/img/bl/8e4f53afadfc8adcfce119aa1cbcc5b808680ea8.pngIndigo [Eng/Рус]ZedCOcoZzaIndigo - a very dangerous planet. You wanted to see it's nature and the fully automatic factories, which mining a very rare resource. But your spaceship crashed. You have already applied the SOS signal. Now the main question - did you have enough strength to reach the extraction point?

In the go (I hope that sounded like level name) of traveling to the planet Indigo, you are no where but in a world full of masterpiece. As you play as a mysterious character, he was full of life and made me feel like I was controlling a living object. When he jumps, rolls down, and climbs through the artful atmosphere of shades of purple and blue, you can easily tell this level is very polished with beyond stunning visuals. The game play is so adventurous and creative and the mystery of planet Indigo makes me impatient to see the next part!Indigo is a thing of beauty with a diverse colour palette, stunning particle effects and fluid animations. But what else would you expect from a creator that has brought us such amazing silhouette levels in the past. But this level adds much more to the package than what has become the norm. With subtle short non-gameplay breaking cutscenes that transition between gameplay segments perfectly well. It is no wonder this level has wrapped up ZedCOcoZza's 4th teampick!

Perfect timing to release a Star War's tribute since the next thre movies are going to be made. I'm sure many of us are big fans of the by George Lucas's creation and it is no doubt that this creator is a fan as well. This race is a very popular scene to us Star Wars fanatics and being able to play something like it and well made on LittleBigPlanet Karting is very awesome! There are custom karts and custom light saber weapons which enhance the experience and makes it a recommendable level to us all. Star Wars, on LittleBigPlanet Karting? You heard right! I've always been a huge fan of the series and this level brought back some fun/exciting memories. As for the level, it's recreating the famous Pod Racing scene. Custom Karts, weapons, and a track that strongly resembles the one in the movie. What's not to love? Go check it out.
