LBPC Haunt II: ... should I?

I know it's been a while since I posted anything,
But I felt ashamed of my promises that gave absolutely nothing.
My head hung low, my spirit down, this self-shame I couldn't bear...
Now comes a Halloween filled with turtles and peanuts for everyone to share!

... you've got to be kidding me.

Some of you remember this, right? From long ago,
When there was a bit more people on that I'd actually know.
I was typing up a sequel to this haunted escapade,
Filled with hilarity, suspense and this rhyming charade.
Now, several years later, many people have come and gone,
Causing me to revise some things... should this story go on.

My old story is still up, and, like the year before,

Your rhymes had perplexed me when I had first read,
For I had but said them within my own head.
I noticed a pattern and had to go back
To realize the genius of old Mr. Jack.
As an unnoticed bystander I sampled your work,
And loved it last year! (Though I silently lurked).

So with humble opinion I'd like you to know

DO IT. Make sure the almighty overlord is the main protagonist who leads a crusade against the turtle kingdom with his loyal minions waving banners and blowing horns.
