Decrease level loading time?

Open your level and take a close look at everything. Is there anything off camera that is just eating up thermo? Can you reduce the variety of materials, objects or stickers used? Can you streamline your logic? There has been many times where I would show my friend Mike my logic and he would make it more efficient with less and it did the same thing or do what I wanted better than I got it to. Other things you can do is make sure your chips are closed when you save your level, you can make all your logic only activate when players are nearby. remember even when u emit destroy it may save on thermo, but the object(s) that are emitted will still take up memory and hence add to loading times. | 2013-10-09 16:19:00 Author: L-I-M-I ![]() Posts: 611 |
