There it is, my newest level is out! Glow World 2 (http://lbp.me/v/qn2scvy) is now open to play. The newest feature is that you can decide what difficulty you want to play. Would you like to play it smooth, with a challenge, or balanced? The light feature and the circuit board charge feature have also returned. The point of the level is that you return to Glow World, but in another section. You want to get to the sky civilization, but you have to uncover the switch behind the doors at the beginning. There are two spotlights in the area, and you have to be under both of them simultaneously. I have one tip of beating the level: On hard mode, when you get to the spinning motor in the jetpack scene, you will notice that it will run for a few seconds. After that, it will stop and rotate the other way. The cycle repeats itself. | 2013-10-09 20:45:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |

The mechanic of the color lights as switches was a great base for this. There are lots of possibiites with that. What we have with the correct lighting activating things works, but it would have been nice to see it expanded, like maybe having to stay on that color to finish an entire segment. Or maybe some device that stores the different ones you choose to make a puzzle where you combine them in some way to unlock the next part. Visuals were pretty simple but that seemed to leave a lot of space for the gameplay. Yes it was long but it didn't feel like it dragged too much at all. It was enjoyable to play through to the end. The different neons did a decent job of keeping the view interesting as well, but maybe some more decorating could have balanced it out a bit more. And finally, I played on both easy and hard, and there wasn't too huge of a difficulty spike. I'm glad that hard is still very much reasonable to play. I found a loophole in the level: The spotlights can be activated with two different players even before they are repositioned.
