Today is a sad day. The last game for the PS2 was released today and it was FIFA14. Shoutouts to Star Wars Battlefront 2. That game spent the most time in my PS2. Kingdom Hearts for introducing me to Squaresoft/enix games. Also the Ratchet and Clank games, for always making me chuckle.

My PS2 is still working wonderfully. We played it the other day. Played Spongebob Battle for Bikini bottom. A very underrated game.

Mine's still working. I actually played on it a while ago (PES 6! ). @theonlybub - why don't you play DVDs on your PS3? Or are you just saying that your PS2 can't play games any more?

I haven't played my ps3 in probably 4/5 years. I still have a few games (most of them being old GTA's) my favourite had to be Star Wars battlefront 2. Tis a sad day that the PS2 is effectively dead (Games wise) but it was going to come sometime and if I'm honest I'm surprise it lasted as long as it did.

@theonlybub - why don't you play DVDs on your PS3? Or are you just saying that your PS2 can't play games any more? I do play DVDs on my PS3. And yes that was what I was saying when I talked about my PS2. Ahh the days of many friends over taking turns playing such games as FIFA and Crash Bash on that system. Miss those days.

My PS2 is still working wonderfully. We played it the other day. Played Spongebob Battle for Bikini bottom. A very underrated game. O.M.G THAT GAME IS AMAZING!! My cousins and I used to play that game when we were kids all the time and we were so pumped after we found all of the socks and golden spatulas. I remember the first game I've played was on ps2 and it was Ratchet and Clank (Which i recommend to any ps2 owner). Glad mine is in perfect condition in over 10 years. Playing games like Grand thef auto, ratchet and clank, jak and daxter, and other memorable games really were good times.
