Making an object unable to rotate

I am working on a level (details withheld) where the main character is a block being controlled by a controllinator. Whenever I come in contact with a wall, however, the character rotates. I just want the character to stop when they hit a wall. How should I approach this Thanks in advance. Oh, that's easy, use a Gyroscope:

Just active the gyroscope whenever you want to stop the object.

also, are these different walls? if so, and you don't want the gryoscope to effect your rotator, put an AND gate and use that to control if they're touching the stop wall and NOT the go wall (just incase a stop and go wall are right next to each other)
