Morrowind Rebuilt - A Role Playing Game

Archive: 11 posts

Hey Guys, Hey Gurlz

before releasing 'Netherworld - Lost Souls' (anybody heard about? no? okay) i wanted to showcase a new project, i keep on working right now.

I'm gonna take the awsome experience of playing and exploring the world of the third (and maybe the best) The Elder Scrolls title and combine it with some charme of the little big universe. Imagine your Sacky hopping through Balmora and Vivec, riding slit striders, fighting huge Rats and some guys of the dark brotherhood; bad at imaginating? Here some pics:

don't forget, it's currently in progress. I'm planing to add at least two more environments(2+2=4). And yup, there will be dialogues and quests:

Amazing art work! Is it just me? Maybe because I am terrible at art. But I doubt it's just me. Um.... so.. yes. It looks really cool.2013-09-19 06:45:00

Thank you much!

What will the gameplay be like?
Until the first story event gets triggered and you get some weapons (Sword, Spear, Bow, Shield) you have to do some searching, walking and espionage jobs for several villagers. Later there will be fights against monsters, but the gameplay will still stay moderate. hope u didn't expect a new monster hunter

Awesome work man. I love the whole look of your level, and, of course, the awesomeness of Morrowwind has been well captured by you.
I always enjoy great graphics in a level. I look forward to this. Well done so far Shaggy.

I like the fence that appears to be thin sandwiched between theck and "mock thock". I use theck all the time, but always forget to pull out pookachoo's "1/4 back" tool that pushes stuff into the thock sub-layer.2013-09-20 14:27:00

@sean88 thank u, i hope the gameplay will capture this awsomeness, too

@deadrandal thanks a lot for the compliment, and ... well, i'm glad that it appears that spatial, but i didn't use any gliches by now - expect these big trees in the swamp background

Well... Okay then. =I

Did you use decorations? Those planks look like 3 thin layers back to back unless this picture is putting out some sort of optical illusion.

Great, now when I get home, instead of working on my level I am going to find myself trying to duplicate your results...

oh lol, now i know what u mean. It's not a fence, it's a cottage - using the 2 last thin and a thick layer that may cause the "illusion" that i used 3 layers^^ (cause i did so)2013-09-20 19:09:00

Looks like a awesome Level I loved Morrowind GOTY and in the past when I wasn't a very good creator I wanted to make something like this I even had drawings I made for it. I loved Morrowind so Much I played it twice 100% completion but every time I try to beat Oblivion or Skyrim I just get bored to death and never beat them. If you need any Help I have 2 friends who can make music without Sheet music just by listening to the music and I'm very good at logic to the point where you can tell me what you want and I can put it on a platter of gold in about 5 to 10 minutes.2013-09-25 20:02:00
