This Warehouse-themed playset comes with worker zombies complete with hard hats and glasses!
More than 3 different water-pistols to choose from!

This is a pilot, which will hopefully lead to more levels. Please don't underestimate it.
See the potential for yourself; I think with a little work and maybe some community help, this could be as good as Call Of Duty Zombies. I worked really hard on making it feel similar to Treyarch's minigame series.
I have a lot already planned out for future levels that are a little pre-baked at the moment, but I'm not working hard on them unless there are people who actually want to play in the first place.
Not gonna lie guys; it can get a little laggy when the maximum amount of zombies are around, but nothing compared to those levels that spam infinite sackbots.

I want you to test out the difficulty. To tell me what weaponry or gameplay elements you want to see.
To tell me if you think it is unfairly difficult, or foolishly easy.
To try and find the highest round
Maybe speculate as to why you are fighting zombies and what's going on here.
Have a look around the level, have fun, and try to survive as long as you can.

The scoreboard counts rounds, the score is the Round number multiplied by 10.

On a first glance I was going to say this is abit of a recycled concept however the mechanics are top very different from most zombie survival levels. I think this level however does suffer from repetition, The design and the music itself is really atmospheric, I also assume some features were taken from nazi zombies in cod WaW, However there has been many duplicates which have done this style of gameplay and this type of levels, some with hologram realistic looking weapons, some with paint guns however this level uses the creatinator which is fine as it is a projectile firing power up however this puts you at a disadvantage to the other levels due to a major limitation of the creatinator is the fact that it only fires a set amount t a time, until holograms which can do whatever you want them too or the paint gun which has a set firing rate which can be increased by rapidly tapping the fire button. However the only real problem with this is there is little indication of how different weapons are varied. May I suggest decorating the creatonators differently for every gun.

This level is very fair with difficulty, however it is also very claustrophobic which limits situations like a tactic retreat however this again may increase threat level. On a personal belief it is a bad idea to mimic the style of COD's zombies (I don't know if that is what you were going for) as Nazi Zombies style levels have been done to death, Also Nazi zombies in Waw doesn't really translate to 2D.

Saying this level is fun and does have the basis to be a very good level, nothing said avoid is necessarily a bad thing just abit of background information however there was definitely something which completely took me out of the atmosphere, and that was the fact we were shooting water projectiles at the enemy, Unlike the paint gun that isn't really excusable as you can make any projectile for it to fire. That is the only thing, that I think needs to be changed in the games mechanics. I am sure if you start experimenting, you can create some interesting projectiles, for example use a clear hologram and put it on fire, you got yourself a flamethrower. Use a tag sensor (blue for example) and some bullet shape metal you got yourself a bullet, Add a power up which releases another tag (Let's say red) which changes the effect of the bullet to explode on contact you got yourself some explosive rounds. These will greatly increase the variety of ways to kill zombies which will increase people's interest and the levels replay ability.

Suggestions for future levels

If I was in the same situation I would re frame from using the COD buy off the wall feature, as limited ammo with limited ammo will result in a more eerie experience, Also zombie survival levels must be top notch to impress due to the sheer number of them, I don't know if I speak for everyone but I am more in favour of the progressive zombie biased level, Where exploration is key to solving your limited ammo mechanic where different places hold different weapons which can be used to progress.

However you decide to do your next level, make it bigger, allow for some exploration, Use different projectiles so that you can change the amount of damage a weapon can do, If you opt for survival try to tailor away from the nazi zombie style, Also add features original to your level alone.

I have written my review based on the fact this is stated as a pilot and the assumption that this level will be the start of something, on it's own it feels like a small beta with great potential, However if you play other levels online based on zombie survival (just type in a zombie map from cod it will show you some) you will see what I mean by repetitive, I think you got real talent and as long as you don't fall victim of the cliches of zombie levels, you can create an innovative variant on zombie survival which will make the whole zombie themed levels fun again.
