Hey guys, DominationMags here, I don't know if I'm known by that or MagsTM, I'm not sure, but anyways, hi. It's been a pleasure to be part of a great community. It seriously has. This community, better than anything else, have actually, maybe, sorta, hmm... became my friends. Now, I know there's people still here that remember me - there's probably lots of you guys here now that don't know me. I've been here for a bit over two years now, plenty of time to get to know pretty much all of 'ye. LBP was seriously an amazing part of my life, and I didn't think it would ever come to that. I played LBP1 for a bit, beat story-mode, and never touched it again, completely ignoring half of the game. I got LBP2 with some spare birthday money back in 2011, and one day I couldn't beat a level, found this forum, and asked for help. Instantly, I got a reply - and not only a reply, but a friendly, helpful one aswell. I didn't come back here, yet one day, I remembered the dude who was so nice. I started to jump into the community part of the game - I started posting a bit here about levels that were never accomplished, I helped out, made friends, and did st00f. LBP2 was a great, great game, and I think 2011 was an amazing year. I found LBPC's Minecraft server, and that, in a way, seperated me from LBP. The only reason I went on the forum soon became not to discuss LBP; but to discuss Minecraft. LBP had gotten a bit bland - much due to the fact that hey, I couldn't make levels, a big part of the game, I couldn't beat any levels, because I'd pretty much platinum'd it, and the quality of community made levels started decreasing. However, the friends I made on LBPC's Minecraft server kept me, barely, linked to LBP - I ended up buying a PSVita just for LBPVita because people said how amazing it was - a game which I ended up losing at LAX Airport. Soon, the LBPC Minecraft server became bland. Soon, LBPC became a place only for Minecraft dicussion. And then, just general discussion. On one last attempt to get back into the LBP community, I bought LBPKarting, played in the BETA, played one level, and knew that it was just over. LBPC was a place that I could come to to discuss, socialize, and talk about an amazing game - but what happens when all those guys left? Here I am, coming on this forum once a day, glancing over nothing above the General section of the forum. Because to me, LBP is a lost part of my gaming experience - one day, something clicked, and I knew my time was up. I continue to try to play within their MC server at times, but it's just an empty void. No one there, heck, not many people are even HERE. All the friends I had made here are far, far beyond what was LBP - Hell, some people are WORKING for companies that are associated with LBP, ... But what now? I have nothing left here, maybe a few discussion threads or two - but ultimately, my favorite part of LBPC - friends - are gone. Who knows, maybe I'll come back here for Tearaway towards Christmas time, but getting back into this actively might just be a bit too much. I'll never leave, no, this forum has become too much of my life to leave. However, the community I once knew is gone. When they go, I go. I'd like to thank EVERYONE, Memodrix, Dayne, Eoghan, Frinklebumper, nys, Clay, Whale.... everyone associated with LBPC's minecraft server - everyone part of TuCr on Steam, and pretty much everyone on this forum for making this what it is today. Whoever the moderator may be, I hope you don't lock this thread, for it is not a goodbye thread, it a simple thread to express my feelings on what LBPC is in my eyes today. I'll be back. :kz: | 2013-09-15 04:56:00 Author: DominationMags ![]() Posts: 1840 |
I ended up buying a PSVita just for LBPVita because people said how amazing it was - a game which I ended up losing at LAX Airport. I just read this and i had to say... OW! That sucks. And i don't really know what to say besides that. | 2013-09-15 09:27:00 Author: Woutery ![]() Posts: 793 |
Fair dues, sometimes we need a good long break from games we love. Maybe see you again when LBP3 arrives. Or MM's next game on PS4, that will be AMAZING.. ![]() | 2013-09-15 11:15:00 Author: LieutenantFatman ![]() Posts: 465 |

I have been feeling like this lately as well. Probably why I made this: http://i41.tinypic.com/9avkok.jpg  I lost all interest in LBP as well.(Most likely because I found the LBP2 creation mechanics too frustrating and also because my true home LBP PSP died.) I want to get a vita but I believe that It must just be a waste of time and resources. I do miss a lot of the people who used to be here. Nys will always hold a special place in my heart because he was the first person who properly welcomed me and we became friends through LBPC and the Minecraft server. <3 | 2013-09-15 15:05:00 Author: butter-kicker ![]() Posts: 1061 |

Well, I've never played Minecraft and I don't have a Vita, but I'm in the same boat about losing interest in LBP, which stinks since it's what this forum is meant for. I've also mostly stuck to 'General Chat' and 'General Gaming' myself, and have hardly participated at all in the rest of the site, sadly. It'll stink to see another person fade from activity, but I also understand. It's too bad that you might not be able to see yourself in >er's story, especially since he and I are actu.......eehh I'll stop it right there. ![]() | 2013-09-15 16:15:00 Author: Dragonvarsity ![]() Posts: 5208 |
And now I'm sad. Thanks for sharing this however I guess until a third game is released ,or maybe even hub, we can look back on all the good times we had on LBP. I'm quite sad I have only recently started posting on the forums considering the fact I had created my forums account in 2011 but let's not forget the community or the memories or the friends we've made with this game or with the forums. Now in an unrelated note:*insert GIF expressing sadness* | 2013-09-15 16:18:00 Author: Shooter0898 ![]() Posts: 996 |

Gaaah, Magsy! You've gone and made me feel! ;-; If anything, I should really be thanking you! You've been a real pal, and I hope you can stick around for a while. <3 | 2013-09-15 22:48:00 Author: Frinklebumper ![]() Posts: 941 |

I can confirm I will be getting Tearaway - not sure what this means for me and LBPC in the future - but hopefully it's something good. ![]() And I thought I was the only one who acted melodramatic about the old times... Believe it or not, LBPC is just a nostalgia-fest for me now. I want what LBPC, the Minecraft server, and everything that it used to be. Remember Inanimacy? That's what I remember - and I bet you haven't heard that name in a LONG time. I have been feeling like this lately as well. I don't know who my first friend was here... I can't remember. All of you guys have been there - but I do recall warlord_evil being someone of importance to me, aswell as Sehven. You should stick around for Mafia Wars, DM. ![]() Perhaps, yet I tried to do this with Console Wars: Reloaded, but you can see how that turned out. D: Gaaah, Magsy! You've gone and made me feel! ;-; If anything, I should really be thanking you! You've been a real pal, and I hope you can stick around for a while. <3 I'll always be here... don't worry. But my regular, active posting aswell as the my LBP times are up. ![]() Thanks guys, I'm glad some feel the same about what I've been feeling, and I hope everyone here continues to be awesome. ![]() | 2013-09-16 03:15:00 Author: DominationMags ![]() Posts: 1840 |
LBPC is a nostalgia test for you now? Now you know how I've felt for the past four years. Ever since I bonded with darkelite and Marino in the iscribble chat, drawing level plans while waiting with hope to get into the lbp1 beta... This place has been one consistent loop of friends leaving me behind with nothing but memories to sustain me | 2013-09-16 03:29:00 Author: RockSauron ![]() Posts: 10882 |

CONSPIRACY. RockSauron joined the forums, and made tons of friends back in the day. A few years in the future, and he's lost all of 'em. MAYBE Rawk TOOK HIS FIRST EVER PEANUT TO SUSTAIN THE MEMORIES, AND NOW HE'S ADDICTED AND HAS BECOME A PEANUT LORD PLOT TWIST | 2013-09-16 04:20:00 Author: DominationMags ![]() Posts: 1840 |
