Teniccio 2 is a top-down RPG that has you exploring to the ends of the world whilst fighting villainous enemies and bosses, acquiring upgrades and levelling up along the way. The aim is simple, just meet certain criteria and you'll be able to purchase items such as keys or new weapons to advance through the world. Some items require you to reach a certain level of a particular skill, whereas others may require you to defeat a boss or purchase another related item. As you progress, the difficulty will greatly increase and you will need to level your abilities in order to survive. There are 4 skills to level up which all affect your performance in combat. There's Health, Attack, Swiftness and Agility. The more a skill level increases, the harder it will be for it to increase to the next level. All skills max out at 100, however this is almost impossible to reach as it begins to take so long to level up. You can effectively become invincible to an enemy if your Health level equals or exceeds the Attack level of that enemy, but you can't gain levels in Health if you're not taking damage. If you defeat every boss in the level you will be able to access the end of the level, thus completing it, adding your score to the leaderboard and proving subjugation of Teniccio 2. I gotta say, I was really enjoying this. I spent quite a bit of time building up my abilities, beat the first boss, and got to the part where you need to hop across the water. This is where it fell apart for me. Trying to jump across, falling in, not being able to get out on time because my character couldn't jump straight up back onto the platforms. I tried and tried, and eventually after being teleported back to the beginning so many times, I finally gave up. This is a really good game, but it seems to me that if that area is going to be so fidgety the little islands should be bigger or the jumping should be more forgiving. I'm not one to give up easily, but I couldn't take it anymore. Which hurt after about an hour of playing....
