Welcome one and all to the latest Episode of the Spotlight. There are some genuinely brilliant levels here for you to play and treasure?and blame for your smashing your controller against the wall! Thanks to all the creators who keep on producing this amount of awesomeness! Please do check out the levels in the honorable mentions section too. There are some really excellent levels in there that deserve your plays too.

We must say also farewell to stryder12 who joins WESFUN in going off to college this Autumn. We thank him for all his efforts in the past and wish him luck with his future!

I tell ya, these just keep getting better and better and I am always left speechless after playing one of julesyjules' Star Wars levels. Like right now. I have no idea what to say. I'll probably end up just rambling, but it's not like anyone reads these anyway. This level. Is the EPITOME of epic. There. I said it. It's true, it truly is. I mean, it starts off with an amazing fight with Vader himself for crying out loud! How cool is that? Beat Vader and you will be treated to some magnificent platforming that is jam packed with challenging and engaging gameplay. We can't leave out the environment either. Holy cow! Details! Details as far as the eye can see. And not just big noticeable things either, no, little things tucked away in the corner and when you see it, you go, "wow!" Amazing, gorgeous, awesome, blim blam level that you better go play right now!This is not perhaps a level for the faint hearted but whatever it demands of you in bravery, patience or skill, it repays tenfold. The gameplay is challenging and completely absorbing, as you dash and saber your way through the dark bowels of Cloud City, battling the forces pulling you in every direction. When not being sucked inexorably to your doom, take a moment to look at the lighting. It's superb, almost painterly and manages to be both dramatic and subtle at the same time (yes, I know that sounds totally contradictory but trust me, it is!). Then in a great rush you?re swept out from the darkness and into the open air and a smouldering red sky. It's a truly breath-taking moment. As bio said *glares at bio who won the race to be first to bag that adjective!*, this level is epic - and for once that word is not an exaggeration. It's demanding, very beautiful and so intense to play. Extraordinary work.

Summer has come to an end for most of us, but that doesn't mean you still can have a little fun in the sun. Grab you beach blankets and picnic baskets and drive on down to the Sunset Bay where the water is cool and the platforming is even cooler. This level has more to offer than a great view of the ocean as like I said earlier in that sentence back there, the platforming is fun with lots of things you may not notice your first time through. The level has an exploratory feel to it too because you'll want to backtrack a few times just to see what's above or below. Have fun on your beach vacation!Nothing tops off summer more then a beachy scene by Semi. So put on some sunscreen, crack open a fresh can of pop fizz cola, grab a bubble, and float into bliss and hopefully not get any burns or blisters along the way. It makes me cry when I realize my sackboy got more sand inbetween his little stuffing toes then me this year, but at least I didn't have to suffer being pinched by evil crabs and falling into spikey sea urchins. In conclusion grab a hula girl here and there and have a blast in this little bit of sunshine as summer winds down.Summer may be coming to an end but se-mi92 has captured its essence and bottled it in this beach themed platformer. So if you?re missing your fix of sun, sea and sand, dive into Sunset Bay, splash about in its balmy waters and watch the sun go down in one of se-mi?s gorgeous glowing skies. It's a level chock full of charm and cool details from the starfish that squirt pink water when you bounce on them to the lethal ice lollies that look enticing but turn you into an ice cube at a touch. Add some bubbly music, equally bubbly gameplay, including a whole host of nods to Rayman in the platforming and double points scoring chances and you have a summery concoction which is guaranteed to keep the holiday feeling alive as the days start to shorten.

You have to know, things aren't normal here: Ghosts, chairs, books, and even knives are flying through the air. But don't be afraid! This horror castle isn't only scary, it's also a lot of fun. So be my guest! -:-:- Platformer 1-4 Players -:-:- Difficulty Medium -:-:- Special thanks @Z1091990 for supporting the platformer with a few fancy obstacles and providing some fresh ideas! Also many thanks @Festerd_Jester for the amazing music!
Boo! Ahahaha! Sorry, didn't mean to scare you there, but it's almost that time of year again when all the little spooks and ghouls will be going door to door begging for candy. To help get you in the mood, Missihifi has crafted a beautiful scary castle full of ghosts and haunted objects that float all around the area. The gameplay here is some very fun platforming with lots of unique and cool ideas. Look for secrets and be careful those haunted knives, they um, they hurt.Ghoulishly delicious this level may be, but it is naught straight with a devilish scheme to get your sackthing within its boney hands of death, mwahahaha. Ok ok enough with the awesome Halloween levels already, unless this is a sign to come this Halloween, if so, it shall be spook-tacular judging off the awesome levels that have already came out this summer, including this one. Missihifi has hit all the correct notes while playing the organ to create this haunted castle. Now to get straight to the bottom of the cauldron of What this level has to offer: Hidden secrets that you have to work for, contraptions that fit naturally within the environment, and most notably she nailed "fun factor", while taking everything that is horrible, straight to the guillotine.

Man! I'm going to tell the truth here. I nearly ground my teeth to dust and ripped my controller in two over this one. This level was a challenge for me for sure but it is oh so pretty! I love a level like this. I love how it's so clean looking, it's just...it's just so sleek. The platforming is really fun and you'll be scratching your head more than once, trying to figure out how to get that extra score bubble, only to perish in the process. A great level, a ton of fun and hopefully you'll do a lot better than I did. Boy-o-boy have I been waiting all week to write this review. So everyone sit around and listen to me when I say this is definetly a 100% genuine pure platforming experience that will surely stimulate every ounce of stuffing your sackboy/girl has in em. Overall orientation is from the traditional left to right while using up every inch/cm of space to jam as much of the uber goodiness of platforming into it that will have you going UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, START.....wait nvm the B A START .... but still you will tranverse and tranverse and this will test your noob-ness. So in conclusion, all your platforming dreams come true with this gem. Okay, I think bio and Leems (no dashes ) have done a great job of selling this level already but it's one of my favourite levels in this Episode so I?m gonna add a few words. It's a platformer?s dream level. Lots of great jumping and timing challenges, a ton of different routes and more ways to get yourself killed than you can count?and every one of them will be your fault and not down to the level design. I also love the way it makes you use your brain to try and puzzle out how to reach the bonus point bubbles - even if you can?t manage to get them even when you have worked it out *gnashing of teeth*. I can see that I?ll be returning to this level again and again in future and I?m going to carry on ignoring that ?noob hatch? at the end until my dying day, so there! Play it now; it's fun and clever and even multi-player friendly, which is a rarity these days.

Here we are just "mining" are own business, and wham-o, what do we discover, a most gnarly factory deep within the earth, building those nasty explosive devices that LBP is definetly in short supply of. Protip: A great way not to die, is too not handle this package with the utmost care. Amazing gameplay that is coupled with a explosive storyline and he even did a banged-up job at detailing the Level. Allright enough with the bad puns and I will just speak straightforward. This level is full of charm, personality, and explosive gameplay, so what are you waiting for queue this level now because (reaching for this 1) it is "the bomb" Well, I am left speechless again. Did LIMI (no dashes) actually just use all those bad puns? I will try and spare you the puns, but I am curious as to how he could MISSILE line like: "There is a bomb factory and business is...BOOMING!" Ahahaha. I crack myself up. Ok, I'm done and I re FUSE to use any more. On with the level. What we have here is a high CALIBER level that is definitely no DUD and stays on TARGET with the fun. MINE entire time was spent with an ATOMIC smile on my face. Trust me, this level is just BURSTING with fun and unique gameplay and I'm sure it will have a big IMPACT on you. Have fun. Ooh, I think I just "out punned" no dashes.Okaaay! *waves white flag* I was going to review this level but I give up. I'm no match for these guys and their pun wars, lol. All I'm going to say is: it's very good! Play it, you won't regret it! It BLEW my mind...bother, I got infected too!

Control a small space faring craft using the TILT controls to move it around the portal while dodging all manner of danger including an alien invasion, meteors and the portals defence barriers popping up around you.Tunes by BuddyDestruction, Festered Jester, IChaosClay and Kevin 4244. I'm probably the least qualified person to tell you about this level, as I only lasted about thirty seconds, so I'll tell you about my new puppy instead. This level looks awesome though and I highly recommend you play it. The details are very sleek and from what I saw, the gameplay was fun and challenging. Ok, so my wife calls and wants to bring home this lost dog. It's a Chiweenie (1/2 Chihuahua and 1/2 Dachshund), I'm against it but she's nearly in tears because the lady is going to take it to the pound. Long story short, I give in and now we have a new dog. And as usual, the newness has worn off and I'm the one taking care of it the most and I didn't even get to name it! Ooh, another thing about this level that is super impressive, is the menu layout. Very cool. For an exciting survival game, look no further than Gal-Axis!
Lol! Well, actually I can?t laugh at bio because I survived only 29 seconds and I don't even have a puppy story to fill in the blank with! I've been going round quoting Peoriaspitfire?s review of this level: ?Just freak?n brilliant. It's too bad that I?m not able to work the controls any better than a blind, no handed lady from Antarctica? and wondering dolefully if that lady would mind passing on any tips to me! It does look awesome, though ? lots of sleek and shiny stuff going on and if I could only manage to use tilt controls, I?m sure the gameplay would be fun too! Poor Arastoph, he deserves better than to have his level reviewed by a bunch of no hope noobs who should probably up sticks and move to Antarctica in sheer shame! Anyway, go play this super cool minigame for yourselves and show us how it's meant to be done!

Be prepared for a visual experience coated with contraptions that will make your mouth water. A stellar experience to say the least, this no holds bar jammed to the teeth with well orchestrated movements by the contraptions. I really felt like this level had a calling and that calling was for me to drool and pause and then drool some more. Presentation was key for this level and presentation was definitely delivered. I love a little detail in levels, but this goes far beyond a little detail. Within minutes I guarantee you will be sucked into the environment and in love with this as much as I am. You may have noticed how I really focused on the environment and really didn't touch on the gameplay aspect of it. Simply stated, I felt the gameplay was so fluid and smooth and so well driven, it literally amplified the visual experiences that will lay before your sackthing in this awesome adventure of producing light. I tell ya, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who can create such an atmospheric level as bombird. He makes these levels that seem larger than life and I just want to crawl inside my television and look around in person. I like that this level has an industrial feel intertwined with the peace of nature. "No Dashes" stole my words as I was also going to mention "drool" and how all the machinery and contraptions function seamlessly like a well tuned orchestra. Just a fantastic jaw dropping level. Keep an eye on that bombird fella, he's going places.

These Dirt monsters are leaving their uglyness everywhere! Someone need to cleane them! Guess who is it? You of course! The heat here in Texas has been almost unbearable so when I popped into this level and landed on snow, I immediately felt cooler. There is so much going on with this level that it's going to be hard to condense it down to one little paragraph. Firstly, the design. I love it. It's like something out of a mixed up fairy tale book or something. Snow aside, the level just looks cool. Secondly, there are some neat platforming contraptions, a cute story, lots of great characters, larger than life decor, and if that's not all, there's a fun mini survival challenge to boot! This level is a must play. Five is a creator whose mind is obviously just brimming over with crazily creative ideas?and the emphasis is definitely on the crazy! Snowmen and penguins alongside washing machines and cleaning products sounds like a disaster but in his hands it works! The level has Five?s now trademark cartoon style looks. It's colourful and zany and there?s always something cool to spot whether it's the custom stickers, posters or different penguins making cameo appearances! The gameplay is just as entertaining. There are some neat contraptions and a fun survival game set in a washing machine (I only wish mine had fireballs in it!!). More than anything else, though, it's simply a blast to play, especially with friends. You hurtle through the wonderfully mad world of snow and detergent, cleaning away ?dirt monsters?, shimmying along clothes lines, laughing all the way to the scoreboard. Great style, great fun!

Ouch! Strain indeed, lol, but I know a level has to be doing something right when I can finish it 4 times without managing a single score above zero and still have a smile on my face each time! That?s not to say there weren?t one or two growls along the way. A couple...OK, OK, maybe 3 ?of those obstacles would make an LBP playing saint grind her teeth! But having said that, the level is so packed with imaginative platforming ideas and fun obstacles that you can?t help enjoying it all enormously, ritual humiliation notwithstanding! An abstract platformer like this is something of a departure from SnakeOwl?s usual style but I have to say it made a refreshing change and he pulled it off brilliantly. So if you like a challenge, you will love getting stuck into this level?and if all else fails you can always follow in the footsteps of a certain friend of mine and ?doctor? the stats at the end for your scoreboard pic (13 seconds and 1 death, my foot!).

Get comfortable, coxy224 will take you on a grand adventure in The Tale of the Mysterious Idol and it's a long one! It's filled with an array of different gameplay styles starting off with more traditional styled gameplay with simple button puzzles as you transverse an idol across the level. Which later progress onto more advanced touch based contraptions, with a clever lighting based mechanic which fits the island theme of the level perfectly. This amazing series of levels is topped perfectly with an epic 3 part boss finale.Coxy is back, and I and countless other players couldn't be happier. A multi-talented creator on both ps3 and psp, but we have only been graced with one level by this amazing creator so far on vita, until now. Coxy comes full circle with a huge level, complete with an opening cinematic, amazing gameplay, beautiful visuals, and a boss fight for ages. Coxy has always been one of my go to creators for great gameplay and proves it in spades here. Fun is so important in level making and Coxy gets that. So do yourself a favor and download this gem of a level, and you will keep it in you DL list for a long, long, time.

The city of Magnezia is one I'd definitely return to after playing dsdavve's wonderful level, for two excellent reasons - a strong visual, neony style and the immense 'Q-Jump' mechanic. The former creates an atmosphere not dissimilar from the style of movies this appears to be based on, and it's easy to get lost in the size of the different 'isles' of the city. However this level really comes into it's own with the Q-Jump, allowing you to have a specialised boosted jump which can even be changed mid-air! Certainly one that plays better than I can compliment it, so make sure to play as soon as possible! Dsdave has quickly become one of my favorite creators on lbpvita. His visuals are some of the best on the community moon, and he has a knack of making original and absolutely amazing gameplay mechanics. His latest level is a cyberpunk's fan dream come true. An art design that will make your jaw drop, and astound you with all little details. Simply gorgeous. The gameplay is one of a kind again, with a super-powered Sackboy at your command. The visuals will have you amazed, but the gameplay will keep you coming back to this level, again, and again. Highly recommended!!

Cool, Bare Necessities got a pseudo. If I ever make any levels on LBPV again, I'll probably spend more than a couple of evenings on them. :B

That's a pretty hefty LBP2 spotlight though. Strain in the Sky is really clever, and I'm sure julesyjules' level is absolutely phenomenal as usual even though I haven't played it yet. I'll need to get around to playing some of the others as well.
